Looking for some feedback if anyone has any insight.
My friend had a buddy who was sending some seeds across the country. His buddy sent the package via USPS. 5-10 minutes after leaving the post office he was pulled over by a state cop asking questions about the contents of the package. He was honest with the cop and told him about the illegal items the package contained, which was really a quite minimal amount.
Cop thanked him for being honest. Took his information down and said IF they opened it and there was a problem they would follow up with him.
This was 3 days ago. No further contact from the police.
Tracking information for the package is showing not only acceptance of the package, but then leaving Post Office a little over 2 hours later. There have been no further updates since then. Package showed a delivery date of today, but as of yet my buddy has not had anything arrive.
If the package was confiscated, why would it leave the post office 2 hours later?
If the package wasn't confiscated, why would there be no further tracking updates since leaving the post office?
If his buddy was going to be arrested for the package, wouldn't it already have happened by now?
What is your take on this? What do you think happened to the package?
