I made some ewc tea yesterday and in a few hours it will be the 24 hour mark should I wait till tonight to add when it's been 36 hours or is it necessary to wait 48 hours. My root rot is getting bad. Yesterday roots were tan now u can see slime coming back.
My questions are
1 temps in Rez are high I put frozen 2 liters in it do I need to worry after I use ewc tea
2 should I clean out Rez before adding?
3 is it ok to use after 24 hours or should I wait

I've never done Hydro so I don't know from personal experience, but I know people use h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide) to battle root rot. Not sure on the dosage but I'm sure someone will chime in soon. Also there is a reason for the rot, so you should try to figure that out first. Ph, res temp, air, light leaks etc.

They're soaking in water and a small amount of H202 right now until my tea is done brewing tomorrow. I would go ahead and add it but I don't know if it's too soon yet it's only been 24 hours. I'm pretty sure it's my high temps and rise that causes the right I'm hoping that someone will answer my question if the EWc tea will help

I did some research for you. A lot of people do 24 hours but some do 48. Some don't brew at all and use it straight up. I think from reading that 24 hours should be suffice.

AHHHH NO DON'T USE H202 AND TEA. The h202 kills all your billions of microbes. 48 hours is just the max variety of microbes you get. Totally okay to use 24 hours before and after the 48 mark. But best at 48.
