Don't judge by the runoff look at your plants ,if they look fine and growing normal then your good. I grow in coco and I honestly just check my ph to make sure its in the range of 6.0-6.5 thats it. I hardly ever use ph up or down because I dialed in my nutes and there is a lot of debate wether or not checking runoff is useless or important. Just learn to read the plant regardless of what PH, EC run off says my EC never goes over 1.5 in flower because I inoculate constantly with microbes so they level out the food and PH for me.Hi. I am growing in coco. I am always checking my runoff ec and ph. If the runoff ec is lower then water ec should I use more nutes?
Thanks mate. What levels of ec do you maintaine in veg and bloom?Don't judge by the runoff look at your plants ,if they look fine and growing normal then your good. Clones/veg .5-.7 Late veg 1.0-1.2 flower 1.3-1.5 Im growing a indica dominant hybrid strain every plant is different but with this e.c range and microbes I have grown multiple strains and never had nutrient issuesThanks mate. What levels of ec do you maintaine in veg and bloom?
Do you add any calmag?Clones/veg .5-.7 Late veg 1.0-1.2 flower 1.3-1.5 Im growing a indica dominant hybrid strain every plant is different but with this e.c range and microbes I have grown multiple strains and never had nutrient issues
YES! Cal-mag is a must in coco especially with filtered water. I use about 3-5ml per gallon every nutrient feed its also recommended to flush with cal-mag light dose because if you flush with plain water in can mess up the cation exchange because coco like to hold on to cal-mag and won't make it available until the its at full capacityDo

Doesn't that just mean your plant has been feeding on the nutes you just gave it?Hi. I am growing in coco. I am always checking my runoff ec and ph. If the runoff ec is lower then water ec should I use more nutes?
When I tried nft I was told if ec goes down add nutes, if it goes up add water. I was wondering if it was the same.Doesn't that just mean your plant has been feeding on the nutes you just gave it?
Ive never done my hydro like that, when my res would go down I never measured EC or PPM I just added fresh PH'd water and changed res each weekend. Works like a charm. When I tried nft I was told if ec goes down add nutes, if it goes up add water. I was wondering if it was the same.
Yup Thats how I do my plants I have a drip system that does drain to waste, 20 gal rez it last for about 5 days then i just top off with fresh water for the last 2days of the week, then change the rez its kind of like a weekly flush in a way helps with coco for salt build up and overall quality in the endIve never done my hydro like that, when my res would go down I never measured EC or PPM I just added fresh PH'd water and changed res each weekend. That's exactly what I do , clean fresh R/O water only for flush 2-4 days only any more loses flavor.Yup Thats how I do my plants I have a drip system that does drain to waste, 20 gal rez it last for about 5 days then i just top off with fresh water for the last 2days of the week, then change the rez its kind of like a weekly flush in a way helps with coco for salt build up and overall quality in the end
