Does anyone else HATE FedEx? I mean my package (replacement ballast) has been sitting in my city for 3 days, there's no reason for this. The "estimated delivery date" is tomorrow. I have NEVER had a FedEx package delivered early. It's like those bastards don't ever deliver early. I don't understand why not, their customers would enjoy that. Instead they let packages sit in a warehouse waiting for the last minute delivery.

They might not have room on the truck. Also if they did that for everyone then why would people pay extra for faster delivery.

Ballasts are heavy, maybe too heavy and they dont know if its ok to pick it up so everyone keeps walking past it ignoring that its there.

It's called scheduling..your route might not be planned to get delivery until that time. Unless your on a high traffic commercial/iindustrial route, you won't see deliveries everyday. That's kinda how it was explained to me, commercial deliveries get priority, residential gets scheduled according to it's location and a specific day.

Today the "FedEx guy" called MY CELLPHONE to see when I'd be home to sign for the package. Sound suspicious to anyone else? How in the world would he have my number? Also, he called from a cell phone...
