how to hookup this ducting?

Not sure to go with 8" or 6..anyone here using an 8" ? With a 7x7x7 Like me.

So I'll go
filter-ducting to hood -ducting to fan and ducting outside

i use 6, 8 & 10" duct fans for both of my grow rooms (5'x5'x7') vegging/ (6.5'x6.5'x6.5') budding.

If you want to calculate the actual cfm for your grow room, multiply your grow room size, then it will tell you how many cfm's you need. Here is a site that can help you get started.

Here's how mine is setup. filter-duct-air cooled tubes-fan

So my rooms roughly 7c7x7 saying I need 450 cfm..a 6" fan is just that.. Is it enough suction if I hook mine up just like yours? Would it be better to put the fan on top the filter..for me it would make less noise at window

yes, it is strong enough to suck the stale or hot air out with the 6" fans. tried doing that method (fan on top of carbon), but felt this method works best (not a lot of labor).

Ok so I'll do

Filter hood attach fan to other side and out ? No air from the room will be sucked Into the hood right ..lol..6" fans aren't in stock
