There is simply too much white guilt in academic curriculum these days. Whites get singled out and are basically told "Shame on you for enslaving Africans, shame on you for displacing the Native Americans, shame on you for global warming, shame on you for oppressing the blacks." I could go on, but what I'm getting at is how do we respond to that?
Are supposed to say "Gee, we're sorry for building the world's most prosperous and advanced civilizations, we're sorry for even allowing other races for being in these countries and having them take part in our prosperity, we're sorry for inventing vast amounts of innovations to make our lives easier, we're sorry for being better than you."
If we are to have more youth join our cause, the first thing that has to go is white guilt. How can it be done?
