In this month alone...

My dog has died,
I wrecked my car,
My hours at work got hacked in half,
I ran out of money to keep fighting for custody of my daughter,
My dad is getting checked for cancer tomorrow,
My toenail fell off after getting smashed,

And today;

I'm late for work because I misread the schedule,
A funky transaction cost my register be short $50+ dollars


But you know what???


My other manager sells some prime bud.

Half a bowl and I a'm hiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggggghhhhhhhh For the first time in a year.

It's the little things that matter right?

Hey, you woke up today. That's a good day in my book.

Both of my parents survived cancer over ten years ago. Both still alive.

It could be worse.

ANY day you start by waking up and end by going to sleep has to be better than the alternative!
Always remember this..... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger !

Been there! Kinda there now?
Sometimes time is the only thing that truly can help a guy out,just have to wait for enoughof it to pass..

In May of 07 my dog died, I was basically forced to quit a job I used to really love and I went to 3 funerals. One was a close relative, one was a family friend I knew my whole life that I was closer to than my own father and the last one was my best friend who was like a brother to me and basically a member of the family.

The last two happened in the same week. By the end of the year I had gone to 6 funerals in all and lost my entire life savings paying for medical bills.

You never get over it but it gets easier, hang in there.

Thanks for all the support guys.

I feel like a wayward son coming here after being MIA for so long.


After I get back on my feet (hopefully the next few paychecks will get me there)I'm going to get an amp and start playing music again. I still have my bass, but without an amp all I can really do is strum along to youtube videos. Also know a guy needing a bass player to lay down R&B and Hip-Hop tracks.

Set aside a small savings and in a few years try and refile for custody.

Just trying to set small goals. Life goes on and We must go with it.

Saving some PTO time to go visit my dad when I can. Hopefully it'll be alright with him.
