you plants will love the extra light. You can use your red CFL whenever you decide to flower your plant ( put under 12 hours light / 12 dark)
Your plant may double or more during flowering, remember that when it comes to size.

my new 250watt envirolight and reflector arrived today. fk me its huge. never expected it to be that big. fantastic. but i'm gonne have to rethink the size of my grow box as it only just fits in. my plant is reaching for the sky man. any suggestions?
also i'm going to take some clones tomorow. cany anyone tell me the best place to trim from. i'm about to take off the 8th node, can i clone this?

i clone from the bottom up, as they will be receiving the smallest amount of light. less light= smaller buds.

If you are still at a stage where you can re-design the box make sure you focus on venting/cooling. I would plug in that new light now to get an idea of the temp. The problem I see with the high watt CFL's is the heat so you end up raising the light higher and plants get stretched. Keep your smaller CFL bulbs around to use as side lighting, in fact I would invest in more of the 26w bulbs if you can. Another good alternative is to use tube fluoros for the side light, the plants can litterally touch the bulbs and not burn.

I did the same thing got a 125watt dual cfl off ebay. And it was massive wouldn't fit in cab either had to make a new one lol. So word of warning to everyone they are a lot bigger bulb than they look in the picture!

you could maybe top your plant or LST it to make it fit the grow room better.
I fitted a 200W CFL envirolite and the thing was hot man, ended up cutting a hole in the reflector and fitting a PC fan to suck the hot air away.
