Two eyes for an eye

You sit at home on the internet paid for by my tax dollars while criticizing the fact that I work for a living.

Isnt there a little hypocrisy in there somewhere?

Today I will take a nice drive and inspect another house. It will likely take less than 3 hours and people will pay me for my OPINION. Nobody will take off their clothes. It feels really good to work for a living. I have never taken welfare like you.

Yes, when you signed up for the military they agreed to pay you welfare for life if you were hurt. So you are taking it. Rob is right though. They are confiscating money that I would rather not pay and giving it to you. I would rather you spent your time working for a living. You seem perfectly capable of operating a computer. You could get a job or something... Most of us work for the better part of our lives.
Your opinion does not matter on this subject unless you are going to apply it to EVERY disabled service member.

That means everyone who is missing legs to the guy with arthritis in his shoulder.

You support removing service connected disability payments? A disability is a disabiliy, they add up together. If you want an effective volunteer force you need to pay disability pensions or it will cease to be a volunteer force. Someone who has served would never make a statement like you did, everyone who has been given a rating DESERVES that money. Anything less is a violation of millions of service member's contracts and commissions.

Do you know what amount or level of disability abandonconflict has? If th answer is: I am not his doctor. Correct, that is between him and the VHA doctors who ensure that he is not committing fraud.

Not at home. Also your tax dollars aren't enough to cover my VA disability. Service more dudes for $20 a pop before you can act all entitled. Your measly counterproductive drudgery doesn't contribute anything useful to society.

That's cute coming from a guy who went to the middle east in 91. There was an actual war going on when I went. To call yourself a veteran is an insult to guys who actually fought.
Uncalled for man. We appreciate you even if you served during a small window of peace.

He served in OEF.

The republican guard ain't shit compared to an EFP placed in an overpass or median ditch.

All service members deserve their rating no matter the time they served during, peace or war. Every one of them always.

I'm sorry, which war did you lose buddies in? You sure talk a lot. Like your assumptions about my mental faculties based on nothing other than my combat experience.
My great uncle in WWII, my Dad was wounded in Korea, my mom's little brother never came home from Vietnam, MIA. A cousin died in Afghanistan....

A dear friend committed suicide when he left the army in the 90's, not sure that counts but I think it does.

I appreciate your service and tell you I appreciate his too and you are an ass about it. Why is that man?

In 2002-2003 and OIF 2003-2004 both with the infantry. Notice that each of these mouthbreathers who has something to say is either not a veteran or never really saw shit.
You must be feeling really bad about yourself lately, it's been nothing but attack posts from you lately. You wanna talk about it?

You also throw in insults about my mental faculties based on it.

Just because someone you know or a relative served doesn't mean you did. Just stfu. You have no experience to give you a place to talk. You don't get a CIB from inheritance.

If I did, that would be as close as you could come to understanding what you're opining about. You certainly have absolutely no experience regarding it.

Nope, none, you are right there.

So you are saying I should appreciate your service for fighting in a war I never agreed with more than someone who served but didn't fight in that war?

Don't get this confused with hero worship. I just appreciate that you served your country.

Noted.

Our job is to help people understand, at least I make it part of mine.

When I came back a few weeks ago I was reading a thread, Ginwilly eluded that you had PTSD and that you 'we're having an episode.' @ginwilly that really disappoints me that as a healthcare provider you would think or even imply that mental health is an insult. I thought you were above throwing people's health problems in their face. You know better dude, you should be advocating for the patient. If you want to use insult leave your job at work and make fun of him for his silly anarchist ideals. ;)

I have rather severe PTSD myself, just thought I would inform you Gin.

yep, pretty shitty of me and I haven't done that in a long time, but he brings it up constantly.

I have only said that I let things slide because of his condition, but that's bad enough and I don't that anymore. I don't ever remember mentioning PTSD, are you sure that was me?

Furthermore, it was an assumption. I never divulged the reason for my 100% rating.

Yeah.

I remember because I was bummed.

I bet you are misremembering. The only thing I did (which is still shitty, admittedly) was say it must be mental if it's 100% rating because I know a guy that lost both legs and got a 50% rating. Still shitty, but PTSD was never mentioned, I'm almost positive about that.

I also remember saying something about weak minded, not one of my finer moments and also shitty, but never have either of us talked about PTSD to my memory.

About 6 months from now I'll bring up the fact you accused me of saying AC was schitzo and we'll be even ;)
