Id try to run that portable ac if you get it. Maybe Exaust it out that tiny winow hole and maybe you can run the condensation tube to the bathroom drain or something .

Idk if the one I got is shit or what..but nothing comes out the tubes to it..
Does it suck through the back filter or what,? Or does it get the cool air from the tube ? Idk if mines broke or what.. Wtf does everyone here do to cool their grow ? Must be tons of ppl runnim 2 1ks like me.. Lol

Air cooled hoods is almost a must. You really might need to get another for yor other light. You were having temp problems with just that one alone anyways. The portable ac unit should have 2 tubes on it. One is for he condensation buildup to drop through into a drain or outside. The other i beleive is for the Exausted hot air to go outside. Then the acual unit sits in the grow room or at least near the intake to it. The air comes out of the acual front of the unit itself I beleive.

your plant numbers will drop once they show sex- plenty of room to flower under the 1k, your worry shouldn't be light- but your temps- as said before, your wasting a bunch of money running those as they provide tons of extra that isn't getting used and is instead causing your heat issues. a 400W MH would be sufficient to veg under and runs way cooler.

I have 15 going into 3 gal pots

^ and you said you want to make a seperate veg area eventually. Do you plan to grow 15 females at a time. Good idea once you get going is to make a mother plant for clones. I think you could make a small 3x3 area with some fluorescent or t5 light fixtures. Grow them under this setup for several weeks before putting into your big grow room. Then they'll take off, you'll save in power during that time, and the thriving plants will be able to handle the heat stress better. Yea I agree ^ that 1000 watt light in the air cooled hood is fine for that grow room for veg. Once you switxh light sceduale to flower then maybe add that second light and turn on your portable ac.

Can't tell if those are roots at the bottom of the dirt from solo cups. But if so yea that's fine. Water them with a very light nute mix. Get all of that soil throughout saturated now

Did you turn off the second light? I've used window ac units alot but not portable. A friend of mine did for his grow. He set the unit right outside the grow near the intake. One tube ran into his bathtub to drain condensation and the other tube went out a hole in his window for exausting the hot air from the unit.

Yea.. Mix in water in big bin lol straight out of tap with 20-20-20

I use water straight from tap too. I have to watch the ️ph (hydro) over the next two days cause it drops a lot. But I notice in my system tap wayer has just enough bleach in it to keep the roots white and happy so I'm fine with it

Mixed this bin with my 20-20-20 using nowhere near recommended..as well as adding my arogreen stuff..
Brought pH to 6-6.1 no pH down added.

Used about 3litres per pot
Runoff on almost all..reading between 5-5.3 is that bad ?

I'm no soil guy and even new to hydro. But I'd say that means your soil ph is lower than 6.1. Maybe cause the last water you did was lower ph? Idk. Or that's just the ph of the soil. It's probably somewhere around 4.5- 5 ? To make the ph go down that much
