First picture is berry bomb, second/third picture is dark devil, and Fourth is white cheese. They are all in 2 gallon pots with fox farm ocean forest soil. The lights are two 100 watt led lights from Advanced Led. I'm not giving any nutes until 3-4 week. The temperature is around 75 degrees. I'm watering once a week so far.Hey Joe, are they different strains? Also, what soil? any nutes yet? temperatures? How often are you watering?
They're like 19 days old. What picture are you referring to that the leaves look like shit? You said the second picture but the first picture is the only one that has unhealthily looking leaves unless I'm missing something.the stem on the second one looks healthy but the leaves are shit ,might just be a runt of the litter, your feeding all them the same in that strain right, that one just dont like that ffof soil i reckon
I haven't given them any nutrients at all and they all get the same amount of light and water so why does it look like its dying? The good ones are berry bomb and the crappy one is dark devil. I'm using 100% FFOF soil but next time I'm going to use 25% perlite mixed in with it. Do some strains just not like some kinds of soils? I have 3 other dark devils that are also really slow growing so maybe it's the soil for them.my mistake i was pretty happy yesterday if you feel me thought there were 4 pictures ,yes the first one
Do you have any suggestions for soil composition so all strains would be fine in it and grow well? I was thinking 40 % ocean forest, 30 % happy frog, and 30 % big chunky perlite so it makes the soil less hot for new plants and adds more aeration for the roots. Do you think that would be a good combo?yes ,some are real paticular of what they like ,i dont think it would hurt at this stage to give them 1/4 strength nutrients they have first set of leaves,i would give it a try at the least the crappy one ,if it kills it nothing lost it already looks bad but i think 1/4 on all will be fine
I was mainly referring to my next grow, I'll just let these ones do their thing in the FFOF. Can the soil be stunting the growth of the dark devil strain? They look healthy, have no yellowing on the leaves but are so small after 20 days so I don't get why there small.that is a good recipe ,but im along the lines of just let it get use to the ffof,it will pick,i still think you are ready for some nutrients at 1/4 strength fox ocean is some good stuff a lot of grower swear by it as do i .i started mine in solo cups in happy frog ,when i got roots out the bottom of cup ,transplanted straight in to 1.1 ffof /promix with about 25% perlite ,they were shocked by the soil but came around in about 3 days, just be patient my brother
I just checked on this one and leaves are drooping but haven't watered it in a few days and the soils still moist about an inch down. Can drooping leaves mean anything else besides overwatering?no i dont think they are stunted ,i think that roots are trying to find the bottom of the pot and they are concentrating on root growth ,once they find the bottom the veg stage will start to explode ,like i just told another guy in the forum ,them plants can tell when you are hungry to hurt them buy smoking them ,so go into room and tell them good morning girl ,how are you doing today ,smile with that im going to smoke the shit out of you for making me wait so long for you ,ya'll have a good days
Hey Joe, This mix you are talking about is pretty much spot on to what I run. FFOF is pretty well amended and does not require that you feed for about 3-4 weeks, most people screw that up and start feeding to soon and stress the shit out of their plants. What ever mix you use I don't care what it is, I have found that none have enough perlite, but they do have some. I run 50%, 30% and 20% in regard to your listed percentages above, not that I see anything wrong with yours give it a go. As far as Autos go I have found that the genetics with most are lacking, as with most breeders those things are pollen chucks. I have grown many autos that had no auto genetics in them. After you grow these out move on to photo plants. Welcome to growing!Do you have any suggestions for soil composition so all strains would be fine in it and grow well? I was thinking 40 % ocean forest, 30 % happy frog, and 30 % big chunky perlite so it makes the soil less hot for new plants and adds more aeration for the roots. Do you think that would be a good combo?
It's a 2x4 tent with two 100 watt leds and one 250 watt both from advanced led. There's also one 25 watt T5 light in each corner vertically. An exhaust fan with carbon filter and a fan inside the tent. Humidity is only 30% however which I know is low. I just heard great things about these leds so that's why I tried them.i don't really no because i don't no your setup ,but i can tell you one thing from experience ,i was growing my seedling that i have right now under some led lights and they did the same shit ,i know it was from not enough power because i took them out and put my 400 watt Mh in there and boom next day, perky as woman's nipples on a freezing day .you also haven't mentioned any type of fans in the room to help the stems get strong,do you have one
