Newbie Grower Help ?

Hello my fellow Cannabis growers.

To start off I am a newbie.

I have read every guide out there and know quite alot about the art of growing.

I have just bought a;
LED Super Locker 3.0 Grow Closet w/ Hydroponic System and Complete Grow Package
24-7 Nutrient Meter
TechnaFlora Nutrients Super Pack:

I also picked up these Two Strains of Fem seeds from MJ seeds;

Cotton Candy
Purple Haze



now onto my question.

This is a hydro grow but I may switch to organic I am unsure.
Second, would the light provided be enough if not I may pickup a better LED and if so what wattage do you recommend. I have herd good things about Mars LED.

I will also going SCROG and TOPPING as well as limiting the height as obviously its not that high at 5.5 feet or 66 inches.

In addition it seems the best practice would be to grow 1 good plant or would it be good to grow a couple of smaller plants how would this affect yields?

I do appreciate the help and I will be creating a Grow journal here.

Any help would be very helpful.

I was mainly looking for stealth as I dont need any smell leaking in my building.

Hoping to get some good feedback

200W should be plenty. I will say that is a lot of money to spend on a setup. She's pretty, but who needs to pay for looks on a stealth grow. You are getting a bunch of nutes you don't need and making it more complicated than it needs to be.

Not be a downer, I am sure it will work great. But the most expensive aspect is the LED and you could get one for $500 that would probably be better (white light vs red/blue). For about $50 you can build a tent. For $100 you have your filter/fan combo, and you could have more space.

Once you start growing, you will quickly get frustrated with having spent so much for something that won't let you expand.

it says it can fit eight plants ...... You'll have to learn the micro way to grow to get eight plants in a 15" x 24"

but it definitely doable :)

personally id grow one ...... Less hassle than eight small ones and if you top and lst it right you'll get just as much yeild as 8 small ones. Imo

if the light came with the cabinet its meant to be :)

you may not be able to a bigger light due to heat issues.

have you done any growing before or hydroponics ?

I am well aware of the price and how much I can save. like I said I need the best stealth. Money is not the problem.

Anyways, do you think going with 1 plant or filling the entire thing with plants will increase yield?

Need some help :) thanks for the concern. one day Ill get a better grow but for now this is all I need

No never grown myself. I have been around grows but this is my first grow.

What would you guess an avg yield would be? thanks

its a nice cabinet , i wouldnt know weed is been grown in there if i saw it :)


ok buddy ..... Forget about your yeild , as a beginer you get what you get .... Simple :)
when you learn the ropes and an understanding of how the plant grows in different stages you learn to manipulate the plant for more yeild :)

but first you need to learn how to grow :)


if the only info you want is how much yeild will i get ....... This is impossible to guess on a noobie level to put it nicely:)
trust me iv been there asking " how much yeild" lol

so what do you know about hydroponics or any growing ?

Thanks for being honest . I have ready every guide, ebook and watched every video on how to grow. I know quite a bit about ORANIC but not so much about Hydro. ANy links would be helpful.

I mainly just want to get some good bud! Yield isnt really a matter much at the point just wanted an estimate. I am a quick learner.

Yeah its very stealth.

Just need some help. Browsed this froum tons of times. WIll keep looking.

Im mainly going to go with a SCROG and TOP the plant to get coloas.

I have a good understanding of how growing works. I wouldnt spend the money to through it out the window mate. We were all noobs at one point.

I am newer in the Hydro game though. I know quite a bit about organic. I still may go with organic in this grow and ditch the hydro .

Any suggestions on hydro vs organic? I have read lots about bud burn and taste is better with organic but more bugs and pests come with organic correct as there is more ways of getting contaminated.

there's nothing wrong with doing this, if you've done enough resueach its possible to make things happen .
i went from knowing nothing to hydroponics mainlining etc etc etc in 4 month ..... So its possible no dought .

but over confidence can blur reality:)

go slow if your going in feet first :)
