Personally, I have never seen anybody lug any full tanks of anything everybody including myself at least on the job sites were pretty efficient at rolling em....the guys real good at it take 2 @ a time and can cover some serious ground.:-P

Rolling them over uneven ground doesn't work at all and it's a pain in the ass to roll them uphill. Hand trucks are your friend :)
I hear ya but seen both I could never get 2 down but holdin the top w/ the lft hand and rollin w/ right I could get some pretty sweet speed.

I'm sure it's possible but I'm having trouble with the idea of a place of employment that handles gas bottles not having a safety engineer who was ok with that.

Bechtel ...Same w/ steel mills...I have to be honest I have never worked a job in the past that rollin your tanks has been an issue, at least where the safety guys actually stop you and make you get a dolly. I do agree tho it is a safety issue and safety is the first thing to go out the door when a job gets hot. ime

Do it right,you ain't rolling or carrying shit till you chip the ice off the Mofo when it freezes to the concrete.:-)
