whats up this is my single NL auto shes in her 9th week and the buds are forming nice. So how much longer till i start flushing and how long should i flush for? Hopefully she gives me a nice yield

This what my NL auto looked like at about week 9. I believe I ended up harvesting her around day 70 or so.

WTF are you lighting with? You need way more light, that is a very lanky and poor producing plant. Only auto's I've grow are Vision Northern Lights and they were dense bushes with about 2oz on one and 3oz on the other. You look like you have less than 1/2 oz and a sad looking plant.

Actually my bad.. The first pic must have been more like week 8 because I had way more fan leaf die off by week 8 due to N deficiency. It was kind of a skeleton by the time I chopped. Hahah

ya this was my first time so thanks for the feed back it will help me in the future. i have more bulbs i could add right now but im atleast happy i could produce somthing im going to upgrade my lighting as soon as possible if i added a few bulbs now would it make a difference??

It's only too late to add lights if the trics are already mature, then it's harvest time. Use what you have to magnify the trics and see if they are clear, milky or amber. You want milky, once amber starts popping up you have to compare the most mature and least mature parts and pick your date.

a 150 w hps would rock one auto.. I say put the CFL's in your kitchen. Not worth it at all.. You can pick up a 150 for the same cost as a few boxes of CFLs.. Definitely this grow didn't have enough light. Should give you enough bud to make it through though.. Thumbs up for a first attempt..
This is an NL auto grown under a 150. Yielded two ounces, but It flowered under 12/12. Could have been way better.. Somewhere between 70 and 80 days would be about right. The longer the better I think.. You want most or all of the hairs to have turned orange. If you can, get a scope to view the trichomes.. Digital USB scopes 200 x are the best. Check out SUPEREYES on Amazon. Pretty good, but inexpensive.

Next run try for a shorter plant. A tight canopy with even the same lighting will make better use of what you have. Looks healthy. ..nice job.

His light would have worked ok, not great, if it were confined in a micro grow with reflective lining, otherwise not going to be close to enough, and then you are still limiting an already small plant's output by your very limited lighting. The baby HPS would kick it's CFL cousin's ass, but still would be weak for a plant without reflectors and that tall. You need to confine the light so more of it bounces around until it finds the plant.

I'm curious how yours ended up tasting, still getting high on my big jar full of it now. 1 plant ended up tasting like NL, the other was sweet and lemon flavored, both were otherwise very similar and finished at the same time (one surprised me by catching up in maturity quickly at the end)

I noticed on 2 plants foxtailin like I see in yours the ones I really lsted the best had the least foxtailin

Floros can produce fine results. The trick is to prune for an even canopy to make maximum use of the light available. Relectivity is very important you're right about that.
My point is that even with his current light limitations an even canopy would have helped maximize those limitations.
For a first grow he did ok. Credit where credit is due.
