I suppose if you had, say, six COBs hooked up to a driver and each COB pulled 30W, while the driver supplied a potential range of 160~200VDC and one day a wire undid itself so that only five COBs were pulling from this driver. This would mean that the driver was supplying under its suggested range. Does this mean that each of the five COBs is handling an additional 2VDC or does the driver adjust and supply the 150VDC?
Why I can't see this being a good thing for either the driver, COBs, or both, is it considered safe?
