Were U to talking to me?? Caught me right when I've decided to up my rhetoric re. RUI. trolls. They never seem to improve, just languish in a lowest denominator Groundhog Day type stupor. Some of my posts may appear a bit starker than usual.I'm going to follow more of your posts...
Didn't think sarcasm at all... just didn't want to explain the reason for my harsh adjetives to someone not talking to meI was, in fact, referring to you. No sarcasm intended, I assure you.
Calories are a measurement of energy, not "fat" like many think.Geronimo this is true due to the processing & additives of fast food and the plastic packaging. Less because of the calories. But I agree
precisely my point.Gosh, some of these cholesterol meds are so expensive before you know it people will be eating healthy and exercising every day in order to cut expenses. The horror!
correct however, they do add up and any unused portion is stored as fat.Calories are a measurement of energy, not "fat" like many think.
Calories good, fatty processed crap bad.
hte les expensive option would be to go to urgent care with your health insurance is usually $75 copay or without $150 + any RX they write.i just received the bill from an ER visit i made in september.
it started off bad enough. $28 and change for 20 ml of lidocaine. i could get my hands on that much lidocaine for about $1.40.
ditto on the whatever else they gave me. about $30 each for about $2 worth of two other drugs.
then came the topper. i asked for an itemized bill showing the basis of their charges, and they just wrote "ER 3: $2096".
i called to dispute the charges. after 6 minutes and 37 seconds and pressing exactly 66 buttons on my phone, i was able to speak to a live person.
if you pay these inflated amounts, they will charge these inflated amounts. do not pay them what is superfluous.
so buck, are you saying you're going to be one of those deadbeats that goes to the ER without insurance or refuse to pay in order the WE "the people" must pay for your care?this is correct. i would dispute the bill even if the insurance company covered it all, which they did not. i refuse to let health care providers get away with a 2000% markup on anything. that is criminal, and wrecks my erection.
No, no, no.correct however, they do add up and any unused portion is stored as fat.
i agree with higher protein but not higher calories to lose weight. No, no, no.
You don't burn fat already present because you're using carbohydrates. Fat is a completely different substance altogether.
The trick is to eat high calorie, high protein, low-saturated fat food and to do exercise.
Blaming calories is a cop out by food producers and bullshit nutritionists.
I will allow there could always be an exception, but I bet he has a cabinet full of shitty food, a permanent seat in front of a television and his "exercise" consists of wiping his ass after making one of his large daily deposits.I've seen this almost. A 450 lber went liquid for 3 mos.,had an additive that made a weak shake type of thing, guess it was vits. mins.and some fiber, melted him away to about 275. he then gave up and went back to 450.
Actually no, again.i agree with higher protein but not higher calories to lose weight.
well you'd have to burn fat if your caloric intake is less than what was expended in energy.
it's basic math. you need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound.
you need to figure out what your recommended daily caloric intake should be for your age/gender. then just reduce the calories.
pretty simple.
This is incorrect. Google Fatty Acid Metabolism.Fat is not supposed to be used for energy at all.
I would agree. Fat is needed in the diet. Natural fats have been incorrectly demonized. Just like eggsCrash dieting or rapidly cutting the number of calories consumed actually inhibits weight loss because your body goes into emergency survival mode.
Reference?Just to clarify my point about calories and fat storage- Chemical exposure and bad gut bacteria can easily hijack your system and cause you to unnaturally sequester fat. Unless you're training for a marathon, you're not going to get ahead of that calorie wave. Too much is being stored.
It's only consumed for energy in the absence of carbs/glycogen tho and is extremely energy inefficient compared to carbs. This is incorrect. Google Fatty Acid Metabolism.
