looks like its got another 2 weeks to go. Orange / brown hairs should be receding into calyx right before chop.

Looking great mc, I take a bunch of things into consideration like overall look/maturity of the hairs, trichs, but the last telling sign I look for is when they slow their water uptake. If I go to water (on the schedule when it should be dry) and the soil is still wet, I let it dry out and then pull it.

It's always two more weeks, haha! I'll probably harvest about a pound, too. You guys are right though, I should wait longer. Thanks a lot for the input, I really appreciate it @hyroot and @GroErr . I think I have a habit of chopping a bit early...still get all ansty after seeing the dankness for weeks straight:)

Here's a Friday night view of the garden:

I probably cut the nutes down a tad bit early. They aren't getting nothing, but it's very low. Buds will be nice and tasty though:)

waiting is totally worth it. Aside from more yield. The flavor will be so much better. When they say 9-10 weeks. Its done at 9. But at 10 is when the best flavor.comes in. They look great too

Yeah man, there is:) But, the Trainwreck doesn't have a lot of side branching, just the 6 tops , but one is small, so 5 really. Especially on that Liberty Haze in the back and the Lemon Kush Headband, there's lots that's I can't really get a good pic of.

A few weeks back, maybe a month, I trimmed a lot of the lower sucker branches, and everything that looked immature due to lack of light. It really helped everything else that I left!

All the c99 phenos I've seen have a ton of stretchy branches with medium sized buds going all the way up. My strategy has been have what seems like too many branches, and just force them together. You don't need a huge plant count to fill a canopy considering the size each plant gets during the stretch. I'm hoping for a ton of small tops and decent popcorn, but nothing like those lower bud sites.

Seems like the girls forgot they're in 1 quart pots, especially the LSD in the front(not the LH, everyone else though) :)

I had a pretty similar strategy this time too, but I only planned to top twice. However, I did it in such a way that the only 2 side branches caught up to the topped tops and became tops as well. My plan was to just let the plants work it out for the most part, and to pluck an occasional leaf or slightly turn things to try to get direct light path to as much of the plants as possible.

Here's my C99 still in veg. She's growing slowly because temps have been very cold-usually around 69-71. I got it a little warmer by recirculating some exhaust so things are speeding back up. Here she is:

I'm topping her at the first node tomorrow. On a side note, I'm trying to reveg the Green Poison so I can take a clone. She's only got a couple tiny leaves, and idk if she'll make it:

Been giving her light nutes and waterings every other day.

Holy shit, we got the snow dumped on us! Got stuck in the snow...dozens of manly men in four wheel drive trucks fail to stop to help, but three women in a civic eventually stopped and helped me get going. WTF? If I were to get slightly political here....isn't this a country founded on Christian values? What happened to love your neighbor? Oh I get it, the large truck isn't for utility, it's so we can all see them. Because they're so important and self centered that they would invest 60k in a penis extension that rusts. Instead, I get pushed off the path into the deep snow because some asshole in a truck thinks im in his way.

I bought my first truck this year, just for the snow, and we've gotten like 15" for the entire year, and six of it was today! Wtf?! For the record, my dick is just dandy, went from a chevy cobalt to a dodge ram

I woulda stopped for yah buddy, gimme something to do with this 4 wheel drive for once.

bahaha. Thanks dude, just venting a little. I wish I had a truck times like these. But I'd be stopping to help people too just because I know how much it sucks. i was just trying to get home from work, so it's not like i was out farting around and getting stuck.

lol, it was a freebie, so it's whatever...not too concerned about her though:) I've had some others sprout leaves just sitting out in the kitchen, so I thought I'd try to get another plant out of her. The smoke was pretty nice and she flowered very quickly. Most of them do die pretty much right away though from cutting everything off at harvest.
