Is it really that bad??? Like is it like rival gangs?

Why don't you're clubs open up for the public

Seems like since you would get alot of tourists you would kinda open heaven's gate especially if there's some rich dude that cant speak Spanish you would kinda know that he's not an undercover cop

unless the shops are open to the public it will never be the second Amsterdam damn

so if i was rich id open a chill spot that openly sells weed then hire a few mercenarys to guard it from the police

or pay the police off to not be within a 100ft radius of the shop

No, all the promoters are finished. That was part of the big shakedown recently. No more advertising is allowed!

It's easy to join a club here, the article even had to links to join a club on it. There have been thousands of tourists joining in recent years so it's not exactly the best kept secret in Europe!

The clubs and growers welcome the tourists as it's obvioudpy good for business but make no mistake, it will never have that tourist factory commercial feel like Amsterdam has manufactured in decades. Which is partly what I like about the clubs so much. I have the luxury of not going to tourist clubs if I choose to.

I think the article was very unbiased and I like the way it regards Amsterdam and Barca as an equal tie, regardless of the fact that Barca has only just started up in recent years. Factor in the Mediterranean weather, beaches and food and Barca wins hands down imo.

I'm not biased as I'm neither Spanish nor Dutch. I enjoy the privileges of an EU passport as I could reside in either country.

If you believe as most stoners do, that we should have the freedom to smoke marijuana then you should be supportive of any country/city which decriminalizes it.

I think its great that there are clubs

Just I didn't know it was a membership type of deal where you had to get a sponsor

If I ever get the money to id go to spain and try to go to a bunch of clubs

I might add it to my "if shit gets bad" list

I like that there are private membership to clubs. I just joined a Russian club of Klite the other day. It was done up really nicely with very high ceilings, a pool area, games room etc. very smart indeed.

I hope this is just the first in many euro cities to decriminalize it. I know Berlin is pretty relaxed and would love to go there. Italy may take a while longer!

The clubs have a personal/local feel to them. People tend to know each other in each one. It's like a second living room. Plus I can sometimes take my dog.

I'd love to go on weekend trips around Europe and look forward to other weed clubs rather than always stashing weed in my secret compartment and dodging sniffer dogs.

Either way it's a step in the right direction. We want MJ decriminalized, don't we? :)

Really? Why? I doubt the 100 club owners collectively bringing in €5 million / month will agree.

As a grower, work has never been more plentiful. Everything is organized even before harvest, you decide who you want to work with and nobody treats you like a dealer anymore. As for the customers, open market brings on the competition, hence the prices being on a par to Dam. Being part of a movement right from the start is a fantastic opportunity. I can't imagine how dull it would be here if we just had dispensaries and no place to chill out.
