what the difference of the yield between led and hps? is it a huge number?

If your comparing equal real watts from the wall LED will yeild the same if not more from a more targeted spectrum.
If your comparing advertised watts HPS will be more since LEDs usually only pull around 1/2 there advertised wattage.
If you comparing $ per yield HPS is cheaper.

Ouch thats expensive, I thought my .32 kWh was bad.
Id still say HPS would be cheaper $ per yield since.
A LED pulling 600W from the wall will cost just as much in power as a HPS pulling 600W from the wall.
Difference being HPS will cost 1/4-1/2 the set up price.

Iv got a 900W advertised power LED which pulls 600W compared to my old setup which pulled 650W with my HPS setup.
Reason I swapped was because of the heat. LED I can keep temps under control with just a fan where the HPS required the AC to be running which added a lot to the power bill.

My old setup cost me $250 for bulb, reflector, balast and got 2 grows from it before I retired it.
New LED setup cost $480 for LED panel. And im spending another $150 to supplement it with some extra DIY LED at the moment to add some more light.

I'd have to guess that LED is the future. Whether the future is now I am not sure. The prices are coming down a lot though. I don't think I'd buy another HID light. As Majins stated heat is just too much of an issue with HID.

My buddy in Utah likes to remind me of his $.11 kWh flat rate (not 5 tiers like here), so cheap there they don't even have gas appliances, every thing is electric.

I went with Induction 2 years ago. Pricey up front but it's already paid for itself in energy savings.

Has anyone noticed how every one of this guy's posts is baiting? And his broken English varies greatly and is indicative of someone who is only trying to sound like he can't write English well.

The light is made by Inda-Gro here in California:

http://www.inda-gro.com/IndaGroShop/energy-savings-lighting-and-controls/combopack.html

For flowering I use Dr. Earth Flower Girl. It's a dry fertilizer and at my local nursery.

I do add some Epsom salt for the Mg and Sulfur.

I give them a weekly treat of Neptune's Harvest Fish / Seaweed mix with Earth Juice Hi-Brix Molasses and Bio-Ag TM-7 for the micro nutes and humic / fulvic acid.

btw your english is way better than my mandarin ;)

If you're talking about efficient LED like Cree, Osram, Phillips, Vero:

HPS is less expensive to start. LED is less expensive to operate (more useable light per watt, less heat).

If you're talking about epistar/epiled like the common inexpensive LEDs, there's not much difference.

(Some brands like Lush, Kind, HydroGrowLED, BlackDog, GrowBlu don't disclose the brand of diode they use. It's safely assumed they use epistar, but sell their lights at prices equal to efficient LEDs. These lights appear to be the worst of both worlds.).

There is no one 'best' fertilizer and you don't have to use Dr. Earth, find something local that is similar. Start simple, you will learn with each grow. I have been cultivating for almost 3 years and am just getting things figured out. Good luck with your grow and remember, out grow the government. :)
