What do you do about clones at night ? I usually check at 10 pm & mist them down then not 'till around 7 am
the next day (9 hours) & they have pretty well dried out.Don't know if this hurts or not but would like to know how the rest of you folks do it.
Thanks for any info.

I stick a wet paper towel in my home made one. But I can shut the two holes I punched with a hole saw for venting and make it sweat. I also have a grow mat.

Scrap the humidity dome and diy an aero cloner. Can make a true aero cloner for 40 dollars out of a 5 gallon bucket with a pump and get close to 100% success rate with no spraying the foliage.

That is the way I went, but honestly now I'm probably going to recommend bubble cloner to most. No difference in results, just easier/cheaper to make. Only reason to go aero over bubbler is if you are doing a bunch in a small space and have to worry about the roots getting tangled.

Yea I saw the diy bubble cloner out of the foldgers can. It's an awsome idea just too small of a cloner for what I need. I usually throw 8-10 clones in the bucket and take them out as soon as I see signs of roots so I don't have to deal with that problem.

My cloner has 32 clone spots. It's a tote with PVC, sprayers, and a water pump. I could have made the same thing with 4 air stones and a 4 port air pump. Get the neoprene replacement collars for an ez cloner, cut holes in lid just smaller than the collars, fill with water, hook up air pump to stones, fill with clones, done. Or replace the air pump and stones with PVC, sprayers, and a water pump. I will go with the bubbler option next time, no sprayers to clog...

I bought an aero cloner and I dipped my cuttings in rootech and put ph adjusted water in my res. 12 days ago and no sign of anything! I have no nutes in the water so idk where I went wrong with the aero cloner!

May just be a slower strain. I don't notice much until day 10, then faster strains start shooting roots and within 2 days the roots are too big. Other strains took 12 days and 13 days before the roots started shooting and about 2 days again until roots get too big. I do some nutes (like 10% strength) in my solution though. I also put a little bit of the clonex dip i use into the water. All this buys me is a day or two faster results though, they will root anyway, just wait a few more days and you will have a happy surprise.

You said aero cloner right? Sprayer type? No way water should be high enough to have the cutting in the water, should just be getting hit by the spray.

If the tops aren't horribly wilted you will likely still be nearly 100% successful. You were just using an aero cloner like you would use a bubble cloner. Either way will work, sprayers are putting plenty of O2 into the water anyway, so submerged would work fine I would think.
