What does that mean, you don't have time for online shopping? I mean, most vendors will expedite if you're willing to pay for faster shipping, and a lot of bigger stores ship to your house free or to the store for free pickup.

Go to your local COOP for soil. Better selection than just MG and Scott's. And cheaper. And, the peeps that work their know about farming and stuff.

I got my Pro-Mix HP and Kellogg Patio Plus (outdoor potting mix) from Lowes. (Got a huge green bag of perlite from Home Depot.). I mix the three at 50-25-25% to 60-20-20%. I add 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp/gal fine-textured dolomite lime.

My local Lowes stopped carrying Pro-Mix. They sell an inexpensive peat. If I was out of Pro-Mix, I'd buy that peat and add Xtreme Myco (and some dolomite and perlite) to get something similar to Pro-Mix.

That's all I do to the soil. Just mix Pro-Mix HP, Kellogg Patio Plus and perlite (3-1-1 parts). And 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp fine dolomite. (It wouldn't be hard to recreate Pro-Mix with ordinary peat, Xtreme Myco and perlite.).

It's a light, well drained soil. I water every 2-2.5 days. Very tiny amount of nutrients in the soil (from the 20% Kellogg).

I feed Grow More Sea Grow. It's inexpensive. About $1 per plant, per grow. plantsthatproduce.com If you go that direction, talk to me and I can tell you how to use it (a couple supplements to use with it).

Many growers use Jack's Classic which is similarly inexpensive. I haven't tried it. I like Sea Grow because it has both synthetic and organic nutes. Fast and slow acting. Better for the soil biology than synthetic.

You don't need cannabis-specific "lineups." You could use MiracleGro, but if you have the time to order something online, you'd be better with Grow More or Jack's.

Here's the peat I mentioned at Lowes: http://www.lowes.com/pd_26986-1803-0082_0__?productId=3029472

It's made by Premier, the same company that makes Pro-Mix. It's the mass-consumer product. From what I heard, Pro-Mix is only supposed to be sold in specialty stores and nurseries, not big-box retail chains. A hydro store complained to Premier that a distributor was selling to Lowes. So, it got marked down and sold out (I took 6 bags) and they started selling this consumer product. I haven't looked at the bag, but I suspect it has no myco, perlite nor dolomite. It wouldn't be hard to add that stuff.

I here a lot of people down gradeing mg soil...I know it works great for mids in the
Appalachian mtns
I'd stay away from MG soils because they have nutrients built in. Some people say they like it. But, for most, supplying nutes with each watering seems to be the preferred style.

can u buy mycro just ass is and add it in when ur mixing...if moneys right im getting happy frog so when they go from solo cup to 1 gallon pots ill use happy frog...after a month ill transplant the 2nd time then in to 5 gallon buckets with ocean forest..if I cant get fox farms ill guess ill go with a cheaper soil mix like...mg,peat,pearlite,lime,and some adements
