Light choice

hey guys! I am new to this forum, but not that 'green' of a gardener. Hehe. Anyways I hve a 5x5 grow tent and want to know what you guys would consider the best lighting. I don't want to sacrifice quality or quantity of yield when considering power consumption, hvac, price, etc etc. currently I'm using 1000w hps and 4k metal halide with decent results.

Sounds like you have a good setup. MH and HPS work good. I hear ceramic metal halide is supposed to be slightly better, I stick with HPS myself.

DE is gonna get real big. But we all know the world revolves around an led......not.

DE or LEC is where I'm putting my coin at the moment, the sun systems LEC 315 I think just can't be beat.
