Week 4 Update - Female Declaration Post - The Topped Lucky 7 (aka #1) by Provision Seeds
Here she is, my final entry, I'm locking it in:

Really was a no brainer to pick this one over the other, although the other is also beautiful. This one just responded so well to being topped, is a tad bigger, and as you'll somewhat be able to see below the root growth is even more abundant.
4weeki.JPG #2 can't be transplanted until the bigger ones flower out, only a week or so more.
Still feeding very lightly as a couple tips showed some warning signs of burn, only gave them nutes once this week and it was just over 30 ppm. All they're in is ffof so I'm gonna chalk it up to provision's genetics why these are doing so well, only explanation because we all know it isn't me lol
Going away this weekend so I'm gonna have to water a little sooner than she'd like but hopefully she's still perky when I get back. Should be interesting to see how much she stretches, looks like this past night she shot right up.

I think I said enough so here's the group shot so they can all enjoy the limelight until this time next week

I just finished running 10 of these DIY seeds looking for a male over the last few months and got 10 for 10 fems, then this one only viable seed goes male $#%! Must mean something, maybe this will be the male I'm looking for, and now that I have no lighting restrictions I can move up the timing for adding some 730nm lights at the end of the cycle I had put on hold :)

Damn bummer man but at least you got the male your looking for, if I get any males I'm gonna save them and let them pollen ans save it!

Its been mentioned previously how drastically the number of contestants "always" drops off towards the end. On average, only 1 in 4 people who register have finished and submitted a voting post. If that trend continues we will have around 20 finalists for this round... currently at 35

Looks like it's about that time of the week, so here we go

Since the cups currently have no drain holes, I removed the black circular dish they were in to let them get closer to the CFL and farther from the LED. Sadly, in doing so I knocked over one of the CoCo Kush, hopefully it will recover but luckily I have the 4 others, and so far, despite the stretch, the LVBK x SourJack look like early front runners, especially the big one in back. Won't get too excited though, since I know early vigor can also be a sign of masculinity.

Argh, you guys broke my willpower. I was holding out for a potential 4/20 promo, but the @provisionseeds deal that @FrozenChozen posted was just too good to pass up, and I broke down and ordered a 10 pack of the Purple Widow. Now I'm gonna have to do some begging to the wife to let me drop some more dough around the end of april, but we'll burn that bridge when we come to it. For now, I'm stoked about the Purple Widow! Think it would do okay outdoors (Mainly worried about mold since I'm coastal norcal) if I ran it this summer, or should I wait til winter and run it inside where I can control the humidity?

That must be why I get away with barely putting any nutes it, mines right around the same. You learn something new everyday, all I knew was that the plants didn't seem to mind and that I don't need to have a calmag supp so I never questioned it
