Exactly what I was thinking feed it to my worms or let it set in one of my recycled soil bins...

I do make tea on occasion I could throw some in with the brewing compost.

Is that the best way to do it? Warm water and sugar, let it hang out for a bit and then pour it into the garden?

dude I add the bejesus of mushrooms to my compost pile, i'm in the redwoods and we have fungal stuff here the size of pumpkins.
theres a couple fatties right there.
that big block of green stuff is solid cannabis leaves

.... foodstock to promote fungi growth ie kelp & soybean meal whole brewing with EWC or add locally sourced fungi.
