Just keep using black gold, if it doesn't have enough juice just top dress with epsoma plant tone. When you transplant into the cooked mix just wait a couple weeks until the plants are established before flipping to 12/12....they can veg in this mix just don't use on smaller plants because it will be too hot.

No prob man.........use 1 cup of lime per cubic foot to the mix........just plain black gold for veg.If you run out of juice in veg you can top dress with espoma plant tone.

okay..what about seed starting mix from miracle grow...would u add any perlite or just use 100% seed starter...guess I would do the sam and fill a solo cup up with starter and test the drainage and go from there

im growing out doors

Pro-mix from Lowe's..you can amend it like you would to make and organic soil or just add perlite to it and it'll work kinda like a hydro medium but you have to start feedings from the very beginning as it holds no nutritional value.....for money saving mix go with Black Gold organic soil add perlite and a dash of dolomitic lime you should be good to go for a couple weeks or so...for a lil extra love mix a lil bone and blood meal too it .
how much bone and blood meal....and ill probley use black gold if cant find kelloggs..

Nah just as is and by run out of juice I meant out of nutrients......
I suggest you mix perlite with that unless you want to break it up with a screwdriver every time you water...I've only used it outside ,very dark stuff.. it clumps up really easily. .I'm not a fan..
