Root Riots .. tap roots out and beans showing its head.. Help

Ok I put my bean in a root riot cube, 48 hours tap root is out the bottom and i can see the head just pushing through on top ... Maybe a really stupid question but its just sitting in the tray .... Isnt that bad for the tap root just hanging out or even touching the botton of the cube tray?????
I have looked around and it doesnt mention much on forums or in the instructions, all i see is nice pics of roots out the cubes but not exactly how they are protected..

I'm fecking angry with myself i wondered about it before but forgot and put my only 2 sweet tooth seeds in!!! fecking stoned idiot !!

You'll need to get it some type of medium. Seedlings aren't very big at all when they out grow root riot plugs. They work awesome don't get me wrong, way better than rock wool, but you'll soon have roots coming out the sides as well. Whatever medium and grow method you plan on using its time to put it to use. Happy growing

Throw 'em in some solo cups with some potting soil if you have nothing else. They'll be fine for a week or two if need be

What kind of hydro system are you using? If it's dwc u can pUT it in your medium in a couple days and top feed once in a while until you get nice roots hanging down. If it's aero wait another week before putting it in. if its soil plant now. You want that plug to stay damp but you don't wanna suffocate the roots

coco /perlite , I would love to see all roots comeout but not if it will feck my plant ! Its weird , I have a very strong tap root and at teh moment looks like a pin head breaking through the top of the cube which i hope will pop by the morning , i think I should put it in final pot tomorow as I dont wanna transfer toparty cup and then into the final pot a weeks later...... these Root Riots are rapid compared to teh normal coco perlite party cup I use !!! I just thing the holders are crappy

Yeah, they're quick alright. I wish they would make bigger cubes like they do with rock wool. A 4 x 4 or 6 x 6 inch root riot block would be awesome.
