Help Please

Hi All,

Need your help please for this case:
The plant is in flowering stage since 3 weeks and:
1. Cannot see the buds yet! (Images attached)
2. Leaf tips curving down in a weird way (Images attached)

Room Setup:
- Strain--> Silver Haze #9
- Medium--> Soil
- Temp--> High 32 C / Low 23 C
- Light: 400W HID
- Room space: 1.8 x 1.8 x 2.5 meters
- Humidity: 50%
- PH: 6.5 (was a bit low = 5.5 flushed 4 days ago)
- No Nutrients except seaweed (maxicrop 1 - 0 - 4) Two Times ONLY.

Any advise?

That looks to need moisture and some food . I would water at 1/2 strength asap . Looks very thirsty .

Or possibly over watered if you flushed it recently. I don't know, are you sure it's in flowering stage? I was looking for pistils.

Why haven't you given nutrients?? It could have used nitrogen during veg to encourage lush foliage. Now needs phosphate

That soil looks like fresh out of the bail. I'd say it has never even had water added to it. Did you repot that just before the picture?

Hi guys,
I am watering every 4 to 5 days which is the norm... so i don't think we are into over or under watering!
i have noticed the weird shape curving of the leaves so i did flush 5 days ago to remove any block/salts.... Now i am planning to start feeding Open Sesame 5 - 45 -19 what do you think?

A plant can't live without food. Food = nutes. During the veg cycle the plant stores energy in the leaves. Later in flower it draws from that to provide flowers. Im not trying to be demeaning in anyway. But I think you should take some time and do some reading on this site. I'm guessing you're a beginner? You'll find out the best practice is to preempt problems. Because the life of these plants are so short there really isn't time to correct mistakes. Generally you might be able to minimize future damage but NEVER reverse completely. Plus any energy spent by the plant fighting the stress the less energy it has to do its job of growing flowers.

That looks like promix. The reason I/we use promix is because there's nothing in there when you buy it and it's PH neutral! That makes it easy for us growers because we know we are working with a blank slate. Then we put in exactly what we want the plant to get and we decide when it gets it. By adjusting the PH of water we control the PH of the soil. If you use other soils with "things" in it or added to it. You don't know what the PH of the soil will be as time passes. So you'd have to PH test the soil before feeding so you could decide what PH to make the water so when mixed the preferred PH is reached. You have take that in to consideration throughout the life of the plant. That's a much more complex proposition.

Either your pot size is way to big or you are under watering. No matter what size or stage my plants are at. The most they go with out needing water is 3 days. You don't want them to stay moist that long as it dries it draws in fresh air as well. That's borderline water logged or complete drought. Plus plants handle dry soil better in veg than they do in flower.

I know nothing about it but I don't like that ratio. I use 7-9-5 veg. Lately I've used it throughout the grow. Bloom ratio is 3-12-6. 45 seems off the charts to me personally and the 19 seems high. If you're a beginner I would steer you to dyna gro nutes. VERY VERY STABLE PH. After 3 years of using it. I've worked with it long enough to know the mix ratio that brings me right to 6.5 without any adjusting and it stays there until my 30 gallon bucket is empty. You could start with grow and protekt only and use that from seedling or cutting right through until you chop it down.

As far as buds go I have a plant right now that is 33 days into flowering and just showed signs of pre-flower so don't sweat it, I would contribute the state of your plant in those pics to that as well though.

100% correct and one of those variables is drainage. So IMO perlite should be added as needed so that the plant isn't soaking in soilless mix for 5 days.

Once the plant is well established it should be watered to the point there is run off. And roughly 3 days is the longest I want it to be between waterings. I prefer it to be 2 days. I do use a lower ppm though. The more water the less air in the soil.

So many people under estimate the importance of perlite, drainage and oxygen in the root system. There is a difference between watering and feeding. I check my plants daily for their needs, and until you know the strain your growing everyone should.

Just a prediction. But many of those leaves will turn yellow over the next 2 weeks or so. Then over the following couple of weeks theyll turn brownish and slowly fall off. Some might never turn brown until they drop. The smaller lower ones will be first. That's because when the plant is stressing and looking for food and moisture it goes into survival mode. Combine that with the fact that while in that condition it's much harder for the plant to transpire. Much like the human body when experiencing hypothermia. It slowly shuts down the furthest most least important extremities first. And if left in that condition to long or to often the least needed parts will slowly die. The larger more mature the leaf the longer it will take to notice. But by those pictures there isn't a leaf on there that won't show I'll effects over the next few weeks. The question is how many will be affected and how badly. I've learned this the hard way. It's not like a house plant especially during flower if the leaves wilt it's already to late and some damage has been done. During veg the leaves will usually stay on and stay green. But the texture of the leaf will change and the outer edges will remained curled over. However it's my experience if this happens during flower the plant is much faster to shut down the flow of energy to and from those leaves. It's my belief it would rather continue to grow the flower and focus its energy on the flowers rather than giving CPR to the leaves. I think this is because during flower the plant knows it's going to die. Therefore in order to reproduce and survive to the following season the flowers become more important.
But opinions are like assholes we all have one.
I hope I'm wrong but keep your eyes open.

That's a sativa for you. I've got 4 nev hazes at 3 weeks and they all have preflowers. And I thought I was hunkering in for the long term.
