So my seeds popped on valentines day, at 10 days i had three nodes on almost all the plants,, was running on four floro bulbs,.

I transplanted them into my deep water culture and nuted them to about 600 ppm, ro water with blue planet 3 part. I thought it was a good time for several of the plants on 3 nodes to top them and had good results.

Ph was staying consistent 9about 6.2 I have 6 bubblers going and temp is usually about 80 in the closet, 74 to 76 in the well. humidity 45.

Growth slowed, some of the smaller plants started looking like iron deficiency, I upped the nuts a bit (100,ppm)
my best plant continued to grow well but the smaller plants started showing signs of nute burn. then my monster started showing signs too. growth slowed to a hault

I have now drained the system and put in just water for 48 hours. followed by new water and new nutes today,, changed to techno flora..her is sump pics from just the last week..not i trimmed some of the dead tips so i could track new color changes...

Any advice?20150303_193836.jpg20150304_193515.jpg 20150303_193836.jpg 20150304_193515.jpg 20150307_020246.jpg 20150310_103034.jpg 20150310_103034.jpg 20150310_103034.jpg 20150310_103034.jpg 20150307_020246.jpg 20150303_193836.jpg 20150304_193515.jpg 20150304_193957.jpg 20150307_020246.jpg

Could it be low humidity in combination with high temps? Did you transplant them from a high humidity area to a dry area? Humidity below 40% in veg can be a problem and high temperatures make it worse...Just a guess. Also, your ppm seems low, with GH, I would go up to 1000 ppm in early veg.

humidity the same when transplanted,, roots look a little brown but i think its because of the seaweed mix in blue planet

so just in case i put in some hygrozyme and some oregonism xl.. oregonism immediately started foaming like crazy.. im assuming it is eating any root fungus that may be present.. going to spend some time making sure no light is getting in my container,,we will see what happens i guess

Don't bump up your nutes like suggested especially with a low RH.
I dealt with low RH and the plants drink a lot more water and may not be able to handle the ppm.
Is your ppm rising daily?
Has the PH gone up or down at all?

My plants can only handle 300 - 500ppm in veg and 1000 would straight kill them. Everyone's situation is different.

Let us know what the ppm's are doing and more people will help. Very good job so far though for sure. And a good setup.

Newb+DWC=FAIL.

Happens all the time. I wouldn't stress it too much. Try a Chia Pet.

LED lights have UV spectrum diodes, which have properties of turning oxygen to ozone, and ozone killing your plants at this stage. So first thing I would do is, bring your lights up to 40" above your plants, and as they grow, slowly make its way down. About your nutrients, 600PPM is ok unless they are auto flowering strains. But because your plants are damaged, I would dilute your reservoir to 300 PPM. By the way, some of your plants probably will die.

all good info,, i will try a milder ppm, through in hydroguard, and hygrozyme, block out all light and keep an eye on the water temp.. I'll send some pics if I can get them to stabilize
