Got bullied, wanta be big man now. Used to bully, finds a job to keep doing it.

Then there's the guy who feels a duty to protect and serve as his dad and his dad before that did. Rare, but they are out there.

My problem is, if good cops see bad cops and don't do anything about it, they are also bad in my eyes.

The protect our own and union mentality of a police force is a big problem.

Right, the problem with the legacy cops are, they all play the game and understand the game, and really depends on their moods. Sometimes they will really screw with you, and sometimes they will not feel like messing with you and send you on your way.

Amen on that. We are at the mercy of the mood of officers and our best hope is that they got some last night.

I know all cops aren't bad. I would even believe that the "bad cops" may only make up 10% (seems like more, but for sake of argument). The problems we see is when that 10% is allowed to get away with the shit they get away with because the other 90% protect them.

I understand it's a dangerous job, and I understand the brotherhood mentality, sometimes your life may depend on it. I don't understand good cops allowing bad cops to make the rest of them look bad.

Like I said before, a good cop that does nothing about bad cop, becomes a bad cop too in my eyes.
