Treason commited by Republican Senators

I see no threat in a nuclear Iran..no more than a nuclear Pakistan or a nuclear China..both of which were portrayed the same way before they got nuclear capabilities. It's fear based propaganda. 99% of problems in that part of the world are directly caused intentionally by western forign policy.

A lot of that makes sense, except when you forget about the non compliances, Should Iran have been compliant and open about things, I see no danger either.

These toys wont just shoot your eye out, they`ll shoot out the eyes of your neighbors in all directions too.

There are strict rules to follow without delay or question. These toys have residual effects that last for thousands of years...

I find the bolded texts attitude towards Iran as very hypocritical, seeing how our own government lies about our own doings in order to get away with certain things..it's what governments do. There are bigger issues surrounding the nuclear issue..ever hear of thorium reactors? A source of nuclear power, which has a more plentiful fuel source and is less dangerous, but it doesn't produce a weaponable by-product so it was never invested in by our government. It uses ALL the fuel so there is no waste product and I believe a very small amount can run a reactor for decades. The way the reaction happens means there is next to o chance of a catastrophic meltdown as well..but again it can't be weaponized..so our government wants nothing to do with it..

Obama and Kerry have no business being involved in negotiations on as scary a subject as Iranian nuclear capabilities. They have a legal right to be involved, but, only a complete fucking jerk would believe they have the ability to do so effectively. The administration's record on foreign policy is astoundingly awful. They are a laughingstock. Clown shoes. Embarrassing. Naive. Flat out fucking incompetent. Not to mention, cowards.

Some day the mad scientist will explain to you why you don`t need reactors to make weapons grade materials. Some day Iran will show why it has a couple thousand spiny things and not one generator for the fuel.

Iran is trying to get weapons grade the long redneck method. That puts them suspect to all but fools.

Wow, never in recorded US history has a duly elected congress ever, ever stood in opposition to the POTUS regarding foreign policy agreements.
Blissful ignorance on parade.
Treason, really??? What a double standard...lol
Smacks of desperation and the pathetic desire to portray Obama as a hapless victim...lol.
Poor baby can't get anything done because of the Republican meanies...those dastardly bullies!!
What a farce!

Far from unprecedented, illegal or treasonous, Congressional involvement in foreign affairs happens all the time.

Waste of time and waste of court/costs.

What some Senators did was not what`s being said.

The Senators` sent a letter, by mail, in care of, the Birmingham Jail, to Iran`s Government reminding them that negotiations finalized by Barak Obama will have to be Ratified by the Senate or it will become an Executive Order. The letter states that the US Senate will not Ratify the deal and therefore under Executive Rules, can be changed or modified by any Administration after Obama`s term is up.

In other words it is not a deal that is carved in stone because Obama said so. Should the Senate Ratify the deal, it will be carved in stone and can only be changed or modified if and only if both nations agree. Then it will need to be re-written.

Not a threat or warning to the Government of Iran, but information they need to know because it has not been mentioned yet,...til now,... because Obama nor Kerry will expand on that.
yeah but the 47 make it sound like it's all up to them, which it is not and far from it.

recently something was passed without those 47...hmmmm..what was that again?

oh yeah! a "clean" DHS funding bill:wink:

perhaps with the "new" leadership team mcconnell/pelosi, we'll get some things done!

john boner is a waste of space.

well..there still is this..

The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

-Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, quoted in National Journal, November 4, 2010

Their story line is that there must be some villain out there who’s keeping this administration from succeeding.

-McConnell, appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," October 23, 2011

I wasn't that shocked by McConnell's original statement. Heck, I even appreciated the candor. But if you're going to make the president's failure your top goal -- and if you're going to brag about it -- you really can't get upset when the president blames you for it.

This is what the opposition party is supposed to do. Thwart the intentions of their ideological opponents.
As it turns out, and history will certainly judge, Obama's biggest and most efficient enemy and downfall has been his very own administration.
Prevaricating and dissembling buffoons almost to a man, they make the keystone cops look good in comparison.
The gang that could not shoot straight for love or money...embarrassingly inept.

prediction: a change is going to be made..a significant change.

something will happen as a result of the most uncooperative congress in our nations history.

wait and see.

He don't need a resume, Obamao now has a track record of failure, straight triple grade A fuck up,
everyone knows this but a couple of you,
I don't know....He has created scads of low paying jobs. He has gotten the phony unemployment rate from 9% or so to a phony 5.5% He has successfully covered up the real reason behind Fast and Furious, He has picked up or knocked off a few drug lords, proving the point, "there is always another kingpin". and the US is just wasting its money in Mex, except for keeping a little pressure on the Zetas. He has shown the Justice Dept is out of his control. That he lacks any clue about long term planning. That he is naive when it comes to foreign policy, and a poor negotiator. and that any amount of spying on the populace is OK with him. That he can ignore glaring probs. with the best of em. U can't call all that TOTAL failure.

No, I mean that the POTUS is a total and completely naive and extremely gullible waif who is in so far over his head that history will not treat him kindly.
Only time will tell with any degree of certainty, as you said, we will wait and see how this unfolds.
Regardless of the quantity of melanin in his epidermis.

The problem with Nuclear weapons is a tough one. First the people claiming to represent good sense, the USA, are hypocritical as they have nuclear weapons and have used them to fried babies, so telling other people they can't have them doesn't pass the hypocrite test. I'm sure this irony isn't lost on the rest of the world. I think it's not unreasonable to think at some point they will be used again.

Maybe Country Joe McDonald can return and revive the peace movement....he (they) was the guy that began a set with...gimme an "f"...gimme a "u"...gimme a "c" etc.

Here's another quote from a long ago music show, when he was protesting the Vietnam war...er conflict...

Country Joe further taunted his audience by saying:

“Listen people, I don't know how you expect to ever stop the war if you can't sing any better than that. There's about 300,000 of you fuckers out there. I want you to start singing. Come on.”
These insults were welcomed with applause.
