Do you have a pic of your box? I've seen it before on here.. my buddy has a little 150 grow and we put the light on top of his box instead of inside.. it helped tremendously to keep the heat out because the ballast is in the hood, and they can produce some heat in a confined area

Is that RP of Denver? I got mine at the Clinic before they released the sour series.. I had my lohan's go hermie, but barely any seeds.. and I planted the hermie seeds and they were all hermie/femalized lol... but very manageable hardly any seeds.. But all in all I was very happy with their genetics.. they seriously have the biggest fan leaves of any plant I've ever seen. And they all rock a nice deep dark green look.. all mine were bred to L.A con

That sounds like a great idea actually. But, would have to cut on my box and it would take away from the support structure. Anyway, It's really old and great for some things, but I've been changing so many different things lately, I am thinking it might be time to do something completely different with the box.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really down with this 150, I just can't objectively compare it to the LED without doing a real side by side. I will use both at the same time. If I had to choose LED, CFL or HPS I would choose the HPS assuming temps can be controlled. Again, I think a good grower could do a lot with any type of light. I'm kinda mediocre but get the job done.
