An acquaintance of mine shot me a few grams of something he designated as "straight crystal molly". I have exactly zero experience with this. I have an urge to snort the whole bag. Advisable? Or, be gentle?

In the US, possession of 5 grams or more of MDMA carries a penalty of 5-40 years in prison.
In the US, MDMA is a Schedule I illicit drug with no accepted medical use or benefit, alongside LSD, cannabis, and heroin. The US Government enacted harsh penalties for those possessing extacy/MDMA. The Sentencing Commission tripled penalties for possession of ecstasy in the United States in November, 2001. Now, dose for dose, ecstasy is more heavily punished than heroin. The danger here for the average party kid or drug dealer is that it is much easier to be slapped with a mandatory 6 month minimum sentence for possession...

The crystal structure certainly looks like it could be but what you really need is a reagent test.

Get a reagent kit, wait a few days till it arrives then test it

That shit looks like tje meth i used to rig to friends. I kinda wish i was there to test the effects with you......for science.
*edit* oh fuck fucker. Do that over five days or more or share it veeeeery generously with your friends over a weekend. Then jump off of a roof in a silk robe with a machete.

180-200mg of relatively pure crystal was enough for me to be asked if I needed to go to the hospital. Thought I was going to die and probably had a temp if 107 briefly.

I didn't go. I did sweat more than in a sauna for 30 minutes.

Molly is MDMA, yeah?

I've not done any for a while, but if I'm trying to keep my eyes pointing out of my head and my tongue relatively unchewed, then little dabs every half hour til hour still have a good effect. Its easy to overdo it. But not terrible if you do. Makes me mong out if I'm not careful.

Nope not yet. I ordered a test kit similar to what pada linked. Should be here soon. I don't know the guy who hooked me up very well, so I want to be safe. I'm thinking of inviting a few people over, moving the furniture out to the garage, setting up some speakers, and having some fun. It's been forever. I'll report back soon.

Definitely the way to go if it proves to be clean MDMA.

Don't forget to set up comfy crash corners full of cushions and fuzzy warmth. It could get real huggy.
