What do you think about that guys point "it's hateful and wrong, but that's the 1st amendment, we have to accept wrong, hateful speech just as much as good happy speech", and that a bus is a public forum?
I totally agree.

is the bus open to the public?
Does the bus have advertising to help pay the bills?
Then the bus is a public forum.

If you take a bus that has this on the side, you are a muslim hater and a bigot.

Well, not necessarily though, right..? I mean, what if you're just a guy who needs to take the bus to get where you're going but don't know these kinds of ads are onboard? What then? What if you do know these ads are onboard, but you still need to get where you're going, and the next bus will make you late?

Sorry, even if you are that guy that somehow HAS to take the bus, then you are not a bigot, but an actual racist. Call a cab, rideshare, bike or walk to work. Maybe even buy a car and learn to drive.

Philly is the city of brotherly love right?

I know about these ads and don't live anywhere near Philly. Most likely people from there know about them because they can see.

I would say use it if you need to.

You honestly believe that everyone who rides this bus is racist and hates Muslims?

Why else would they ride that bus unless it was to show their racist solidarity with all the other riders of the bus.
Muslim is a race right?

All muslims want to kill me and my children
All muslims are terrorists and they have been hiding out in terrorist cells in every city and town in the USA.
muslim terrorists are very difficult to kill and we need to stick with our war for as long as it takes to eradicate all muslim terrorists, I figure it won't last any longer than 50 or 60 more years. Give or take a hundred.
Muslim terrorists have been increasing their terror attack activity to levels never seen before.
Afghanistan and Iraq are countries that train terrorists to fly planes into buildings and show muslims how to decapitate people with a scimitar. In order to put a dent in the terrorists plans, we have to occasionally wage war on these nations, approx 9 or 10 years out of every 10 years.

I hear it on the news all the time, it must be true.
The news tells me every day how bad muslims are and how they want to kill my children with their muzzy bombs.
muslims are so bad and evil that they make their own children wear the latest in exploding fashion and then send them into kindergartens and public schools or kids soccer games in order to make small bodies fly into pieces.
government has been telling me that these things happen and I need to be vigilant and always on the lookout. If you see something, say something!

He has a point. Buses are used as public advertisement space all the time. And there is the 1st amendment.

But like I said. Wow. Just wow. I'm sorta speechless on this one.

Again, here's an example of how abiding by real private property rights would solve a problem .

If the owner of the bus company, truly controlled the bus company, (no usurpation by government) they would be free to say, "no thank you" to the people wanting to advertise things they did not approve of.

Then the Hitler dicks could pound sand or find another person that would accept their ad and those who didn't accept the ad would be free to reject it.

Also, the government is being contradictory when it alleges to protect one right (free speech) when it deprives an owner of another right by forcing them to conduct business with the Hitler people.. (private property right)

A bus is not a public forum, in the sense that the "public" owns it, it is private property.

What if you lived in a country that approves of torturing people and imprisons the most people in the world and will steal your house for a plant ? Which bus should a person take then?

Isn't the bus company owned by the city of Phily? The city transit?

Or walk.
