How to auto water a big soil grow

Saw this video recently which absolutely blows my mind, because it's exactly what I'd like to scale up to one day.
Was wondering, how are all of these watered if not by hand? At 1 gallon/ plant at their peak nonetheless!
Can you pump from the 100 gallon res to a waterer/wand? I've heard about using the drippers but was told they clog up easy. Thanks

Get yourself a container (or two) and fill them with water. Use a submersible pump and a water wand to water them. You could also use the same system to feed them. Plants do what they want. They wont listen to you the more you try, so my advice would be to listen to them. The idea of "auto" anything with growing is just about out of the question with the exception of your environmental variables like temp, RH, and CO2. Here is a pic of my simple watering setup with a couple inline RV water filters. I also have an air stone that is not in the picture that I fire up 3-4 hours before I use the water for anything. The light green hose fills the garbage bucket and the dark green hose is attached to the submersible pump and has the wand at the other end. This is the easiest way I know of to water a lot of plant at one time without moving them.IMG_20141205_043944_334.jpg

I like them for sure. They contract on their own and take up less space because of it. They are still 50', but hard to utilize all 50 without a straight line. Regardless, they are all I will ever use. I just like them. The stream from the hose alone is VERY powerful when the nozzle is slightly closed and when the hose tries to drain itself. The wand side is wide open and my wand has a pressure adjuster built in to the wand handle. Get a good wand too. Mine has a bunch of different settings (ie. bucket filler, shower, spray, flat, etc.)

Added to the shopping list. I'm past $6k with taxes and still have to pay electrician lol. Say how do I PM? Site doesn't appear give me that option yet

Just click my name and choose "start a conversation". I am sure you went past 6k, it is easy to do. I have set up several rooms and I am here to tell you, if you are gonna do it right, DIG DEEP! You can blow 10k like nothing and still not have dirt or pots. If you feel ok with it, lemme see your shopping list and I will see if I can find any holes in it for you.
