Hello Ladies and Gents,

this is my first plant, set up in an indoor hydro ebb & Flow system. I kinda lost track of time (being in college does that), so I am not sure how long she has been in flowering mode. I estimate 4 or 5 weeks now. But... I'm not sure if she is ready for harvest. Here are some pics of one of the buds
Firstly, that bud looks a lot older than 4-5 weeks! The pistils are mostly brown, which means that more of the pistils are dying than growing, which signifies that the plant is at peak ripeness. Pistils aren't necessarily a good indicator to ripeness however, for that you need to look at the heads of the Trichomes and what you're looking for depends on the kind of stone you want. There's plenty of information on the site regarding the colour of trichome heads to shoot for for any given stone.

You need to keep a diary, not only to keep track of time but so you can learn from it. The next grow you do, how will you know what you did to the plant and when you did it?
