I was just talking with Jerry from Kingbrite and I asked if they could get Bridgelux Vero's and he replied "no yet maybe we should" I said "get the vero version 2 that's what they are really wanting and they are cheaper than the Cree's" . Lets see what happens

I've been meaning to call bridgelux to see if any version 2 emitters have been shipped yet. I'm waiting to build my next panel until I can find 3500k/5000k V2 emitters

Alright so I just got off the phone with bridgelux. The new 130lm/w series (their term not mine) with be on digikey within 4 weeks. Additionally they are going to be the same price as the older 120lm/w series. So no price increases and higher efficiency. Can't get better than that.

Would it be correct to assume this is the reason there are no V29s 3000K 80CRI available on either Digikey or Newark? The Digikey page lists the product as non-restocking. I was just about to place an order. Newark lists it as awaiting delivery. More stock expected May 11th. That's a long time to wait.

I would say it's safe to assume so. I think digikey get's priority, because the bridgelux rep mentioned digikey several times. They also mentioned that digikey has a backorder with bridgelux.
