So this is the cabinet I plan on using, the dimensions for the left side are 4 foot 5 1/2 tall x 1 foot 10 1/2 deep x 1 foot 7 deep, the top area is 1 foot 2 tall x 3 foot 10 wide x 1 foot 7 3/4, the top right side is 2 foot 2 1/4 x 1 foot 10 1/2 x 1 foot 7 3/4 and then bottom right side is 2 foot 3 tall x 1 foot 10 1/2 wide x 1 foot 7 3/4. What are your thoughts on the dimensions? Also any suggestions on lights for the certain areas? I'm also open to ideas for what to use each space for. I was thinkin at least one for veg, flower and storage but then there is still one space left. Any ideas welcome thanks for the help

Air-flow arrows - Passive In (cover w/ screen): from bottom-right to out: upper-left (duct blower, pull air through carbon filter). Put in light traps, 4" circulation fans in veg and flower, timers, pulley for hps light to raise/lower. Paint the inside flat white, or add reflective liner.

Might be a better way. Lots of options.

Ok thanks for the visualization, I like that idea. Is it better to paint white or line with Mylar as I have both. What size should the hole be for intake and exhaust? Need to look into borrowing a hole saw. Also need help on intake and exhaust fans that make little to no noise as well as circulation fans, is there a way to do the ducting so there's not something stick in out the back? Any help is appreciated

Better to paint white, IMO. Don't have to worry about mold growing under mylar.

4"/190cfm inline fan, I would think. Run the numbers from charts online based on size of your chambers. Might need bigger. Check it out first, if you can, for noise level. Before you get in too deep.

I have six 3" holes in a row, covered by a screen and light trap, for a passive intake (no intake fan, exhaust fan just sucks in fresh air). My cab is air-tight though. I have one exhaust fan, with muffler (outside of cab) and duct that outside. It's about as loud as a refrigerator or drier hum. One 4" desk fan mounted for circulation.

You could vent it out the side, I guess. Good luck! Peace-out!!

For passive intake, you need the exhaust to be TWICE the SURFACE AREA of the intake....not twice the diameter.....rough estimate for assuming correct flow....

It prevents light shining into the other chamber, while letting air pass through. So you can go 12/12 flower, and 18/6 veg, and not mess up each light cycles.

One way is to use black pvc pipe, larger diameter than your holes, cut it in half, long-ways, like a tunnel, and place it over the holes. The tube will be longer than the row of holes, so air can pass through the sides, but the light won't bend or reflect off the black, and won't shine through the holes. There are many ways to make a diy light trap online.

I was just re-reading your previous "grow cabinet" thread from Oct 2014. Lots of good info on LED lighting. Forgot about LED's as an option when I did my diagram earlier!

Use ur extra space for drying, I never had anywhere to dry causing me a week delay getting my vegers into flower as I was using my flower room as a drying room. When your harvesting perpetually in small spaces it's good to have everything thought out so you really can harvest on time. Hope this helps

Seeing as you forgot about leds is there anything you would change in your diagram? That's what I was originally going to use and thanks for all the help

King LED or Kind LED? I have never heard of King LED, but I am running Kind LEDs in my cabinets. They have a 12 band spectrum. Worked great for me.

Can I ask which versions of the kind lights you have? And how big your cabinet is?

have you thought about building your own Led lights?
I definitely did think about it and was receiving some good help on another post but I live in Canada so everything is almost double the price once you do the currency exchange, on top of that wasn't sure if all these American sites would ship here anyway
