Day 1 of misting -
3/17/15

So they say start misting when the auto is 5-6 inches tall. It's somewhere in there now. Actually it's just a cunt hair over 5". But if I move some dirt and push down extra hard with the ruler, I'm at 5.5". So I'm right in there. Time to mist.

Here it is today. Berry Ryder fem.

This Berry is tight.

I need to start some LST now so I can keep it in the little cab. My two goals here are:

1. Create Berry Ryder fem seeds.
2. Save some pollen from the Berry and dust an AKR.

I think I'll bend this sucker over, tie it down, and mist the bottom half. There should be 4-6 sites down there. I'll take a pic of that then update every 3 days or so.

I secured the base in one direction and tied the top in the other direction. Simple lst.



I misted and will continue to mist the bottom part of this Berry below my fingers. If the whole plant ends up seeded, I'm ok with that.

A lot of store bought "CS" sprays, are reported to have much much higher ppm than needed, but well made cs can work very well at as low as 15ppm if applied often enough (a few times a day).

The benefit of using low ppm cs is that you can apply it multiple times, which doses the same amount of CS, but in a more uniform, and less stressful manner. You can coat the entire plant with homemade cs without ay burning, but some store bought stuff will ruin any leaves it comes in contact with.



There are dangers other than argyria, when smoking treated bud. The bud has on/in it, millions of silver particles. You are inhaling heating these up, and then inhaling them.

Some people make edibles out of the buds from a plant in which only 1-2 branches were treated, because ingesting the cs would be similar to drinking it, whereas smoking it isn't. However, they don't use the actual treated buds themselves. A lot of people won't smoke anything off of a plant that was sprayed anywhere.

True, but you are supposed to keep spraying until the first pollen sacs start to open, to make sure they grow all the way to maturation. That said, I'm not saying that cs WILL cause harm if you smoke the plant you sprayed. Just that a lot of people believe it can.

If one keeps spraying as you say then I agree with you, I wouldn't do it. If it were a one time shot, I wouldn't worry. I have a hard time accepting smoking anything treated with neem oil myself so a constant application of CS and even I wouldn't smoke it.

Q. If you need to choose one branch only to apply CS to it, would you choose one of the top branches or one of the lower branches?

Can I spray one popcorn bud ony?

If you choose a top branch the whole plant will be seeded because pollen will end up on everything. It's much easier to control the pollen when it's down low.

I did an AKR with TM and sprayed the whole damn plant. Got lots O seeds.

I don't see why you couldn't just spray a popcorn. Then you could take some of that pollen and dust whatever bud sites you wanted. Pollen goes a long way.

Today is the 7th day of misting, and instead of just misting the bottom half, I decided to sacrifice the whole plant. Couple mists here and a couple there. Not a lot to show. Just a little lst. Gotta keep this somewhat short to finish in the same cabinet. 1 gallon pot, CFLs, 24/0.



I need to make a potting table of some kind and stop using my boat.

On another note. I've been running a 400hps for the last 3-4 years. I'm proud to say my dimmable 600 showed up today. hoot hoot

ive actually used 15 ppm and it worked fine once and then the next time i had to use something stronger .......


the only thing i have a issue is with smoking treated buds is they taste like shit .... like smoking a male ....... the boiling point of silver is around 2000 f a cigarette is around 500 f so i doubt that the minute amount of silver that is left will do anything but be left in the ashes ......... the plant is also using the silver ......... its being bound to other molecules so in all reality there probably isnt much pure silver left after the plant has finished

I ran out of my stash of bud and decided to start smoking the hell out of my CS sprayed BR SEED MAMA BUDS. High just the same..You can def taste some funky flavor though....but got shit loads of it! Should hold me over for one mo month!

Read that some people inhale or vaporize the CS for lung infections, as long as it is CS and not ionized silver, all fine, no agrya, plus, it is not like you smoke that all year round so what the hell... enjoy!

Talking about running out of bud-

I jacked up my back before X-Mas. For a couple months, I was stuck to the recliner. Luckily I had a nice supply at that time. Well guess what? During those two months I was down, I wasn't growing. Well guess what again? Now I have no bud. Buying from the dispensary is just bullshit but understand people need them. At least I can try some different strains.

Inferno
Trainwreck
Blueberry

Tuesdays are $40 1/8s. I just hate flipping that top open and seeing 4-5 little buds which I can produce for dollars.

Oh well. Not hating on the dispensaries. They are needed but are not for me. In roughly 3-4 weeks I should be ripping on some COC. (That just doesn't sound right.) Then followed by some Berry Ryders. Next up will probably be some haze crosses.

6 58 w 2700k cfls , 2 x 135 w led's a 400w lumatek high par hps , and thinking about breaking out the 600w just need to replace the cord , i just love my 400w and the power bill loves it too .....
so my state has a high chance for medical to be on the ballot during the presidential election ...... keep your fingers crossed ...... when it passes im going to retire


cfl and led's during the hotter part of the day and led's and hps for about 18 hours , but running 24/0 just easier to keep the temps down with the cfl's from 12pm - 5pm or so

im just really anal about my temps
