Autos need no particular cycle ( although 24/0 is the most common ) but if it's a true auto your cycle is already established. Best to run them as they are. Flipping cycles back can stress somewhat ( sometimes cause Hermies ) but is there any reason you want to go back to veg light cycle ?
With a known AUTO strain I do one of 2 cycles :
1. Full 24/0 light cycle , no dark period .
2. 18/6 ( as normal regular seed ) but for around week 2/3 when preflower pops
Then 12/12 . ( however after growing one this way compared to one on 24 cycle )
there was a slight decrease in yield. Autos also need an adjusted feed schedule
compared to regular seeds having longer veg time. Auto has a much shorter
veg stage.

On the packets some say autos & others feminised but when look at the strain orderd on their site it says in reviews its autoflowering yet just feminised on packet

IF they are Auto and You have em on 12/12 they will still Grow, but Yield may be affected. If you want to give them more hrs again but are worried about stressing and causing Hermies why not increase the amount of "Light On" hrs every 3rd-4th day(by 1 or 2 hrs a time until you reach 18/6) Which is a pretty good on/off Light schedule. some people will prefer other patterns but for Me this one works, and I believe that Plants do need a little down time(which isn't to say that things aren't going on when in dark period) I've done most of My Autos on 18/6 and had no problems.

Thanks I will prob just leave them as my 1st ever grow & go 18/6 for next grow with the ones that are autoflowering.
Or could I just put em on 14/10 the rest of grow??

hiya steff, I couldn't really say about 14/10..though I can't see Why not.. I mean its up to you really, I've only read a few threads on peeps doing 12/12 with Autos and possibly less on the 14/10 but I have seen Threads by people on this...though when and where I can't remember.. It could of been on R.I.U. or ThcFarmer, an Auto Grow site or even ThcTalk..idk..But if You check R.I.U. in the Auto Section and come up dry for results, maybe a Google search will bring back some results on 14/10.

Thanks again I checked with seed bank & 2 of them I have in ARE Autos & 1 feminised..1 of them. Was doing real bad & hardly grew any roots(I think soil maybe was to hot as it looked frazzled lol.I re,- potted it & the new growth looks good although it only looks a few weeks old..I should have took note of what seed was what in pots but forgot as was that keen to start with the growing as always wanted to try but never got round to it.Thanx again
