Seed Casing on top of sprout

Hey guys Im 5 days into my grow. My Northern Lights sprouted but I noticed that it looks like the casing of the seed is on top of the sprout/stem. Just wondering if this is a problem and if it is how to/can I fix it.
Thanks in advanced peeps!

Just wait a few days and it'll prolly remove itself. If it doesn't you can use a pair of tweezers or something, but be careful cause more than a few people have cut the head from their seedling trying to do that.

adding a few drops of water to the shell will soften it and aid in its removal
Also, I just saw this small grey spider on the top outside of my pot, I killed it. My pot is by a slightly opened window so I closed the window and im gonna duct tape seal it to be sure. Is it anything to worry about?

I think you can get a cheap humidifier for like $20, my humidity is always around 20% in the winter and it doesnt seem to make that big of a difference when starting seedlings. You can even have a fan blow over a bowl of water to raise it for a quick fix.

You should be fine, some spiders can actually be a good thing as they'll prey on other pests like fungus gnats but having no pests would be ideal of course. Just keep the grow clean and take the proper measures to prevent any sort of contamination from a nonsterile environment and it'll be one less thing to worry about.

So the plants doing fine except the casing is still attached to one of the leaves and its weighing that leave down, any ideas?
