I was told on here to use grotek cal max during flower but it also has 2%nitrogen in it and 2%nitrate nitrogen, wtf i have ordered cal mag shit twice and none of it is just cal mag am i ok to use this shit
Some 1 on here but I take your word for it I will use itTold not to use it by who? what is a 2-0-0 NPK going to do to upset the cart so much?!
Are you in soil or hydro? In soil, you shouldn't need calmag. And, if you did need it but didn't want to increase your N, then you could use General Organics CaMg+. It has no N.Some 1 on here but I take your word for it I will use it
I'm in soil and have cal mag def for sure I'm using tap water now but it is still saying she needs cal magAre you in soil or hydro? In soil, you shouldn't need calmag. And, if you did need it but didn't want to increase your N, then you could use General Organics CaMg+. It has no N.
General Organics product line is more for soil, while Gen Hydro is more for hydro (and their calmag has N because it contains calcium nitrate). Gen Org's product is calcium carbonate broken down in acid.
Epsom salt will treat mg def. Gypsum dissolved in water (to the extent it will dissolve, it will, but not entirely) will treat ca def. You can dissolve eggshells in vinegar to get a purer form of ca for future deficiencies.I'm in soil and have cal mag def for sure I'm using tap water now but it is still saying she needs cal mag
No not sure my plants did good till they started flowering I was using distilled Most of the time and did not know it needed cal mag I was just using ff nutes but some times I would use tap water that was sitting out for a week or longerEpsom salt will treat mg def. Buying a calmag product seems like a waste just to treat individual deficiencies. If you used RO water I could see using calmag to replace minerals lost to filtering. But, if you use tap water, you shouldn't need calmag. Just the individual ca and mg products to treat defs.
You're sure your tap water's ppms aren't too high?
If ur asking would I , yeaJust wonderin...if someone on here told you to throw them off a bridge........
