Hmmm -- You ever experience seeds cracking but failing to make progress on pushing the taproot out? 3 outta the 4 seeds I put in bags yesterday have cracked but the taproot isn't going anywhere. I should probably give it a few days time, kinda scratching my head as they cracked inside the cup of water yesterday morning and I switched em to the paper towel yesterday morning.
 
I may have fucked them up...I let them soak in warm water over night. All were cracked the next morning so I put them in paper towels and under my seedling mat.

Im reading too hot can kill them. So maybe that was it? But why is one of them fine?

Good thing they were freebies I guess is all I can say.
 
Nicely done, the root / "stem" doesnt get too wet and rot? Just asking because I had that happen once on a peat moss cube! MY GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! :cuss:

Ive had discolored clone stems before from sitting too long in the cloner. Pump runs 24/7 for heat. Plants love it for some reason. There is a distinct difference between how fast plants root in summer and winter. Like almost a full week.
 
All other seeds I started have a tiny tail poking out. This one is already ready to shed its husk and bein growing.

Go figure its DNA genetics and reserva privada.

Though the gigabud had a 24hr head start on all of them and is jist as fat behind. Dinafem you let me down this time.

Probably old stock. Attitude freebies.

Most of my Dinafems were best final product ;) Don't hate just yet and besides you got a commercial yield/overrated "Gigabud" strain. I personally dont like "commercial strains" because I over grow my plants as is and those things get massive and heavy (assuming its like critical mass and such).

My DNA and Reserva Privada freebies are doing really well so I agree with you there! I want to see how my Cali Connects come out honestly. Everyone is HATING on his OG SVF (or however its abbreviated) parent so I'm hesistant to crack open his Buddha Tahoe OG seeds.... The Girl Scout Cookies (Cali Conn) I got from them doesn't worry me as much because it doesnt depend on the OG for most of its genetics. The Cali Connection GCS is the thin-mint phenotype. The "copy/immitation" is from BC Bud Depot and they or he rather breed it with a cherry pie, taking away the original thin mint phenotype.

I ran tahoe og freebies. Grew like shit. Dna cc rp all junk IMO. Gimme those spanish breeders all day

U read wrong. Rp and dna arent budging. The taproot starting to brown on reserva privada.

Dna kushberry is moving slowly. Gigabud is stalled but taproot is still white.

I never have issues germinating. Got me scratching my head.
 
You can't blame 4+ companys with decent reps for "bad genetics"... I think there might have been some other factors in there too. Unless my standards are low... Quiet possible too. What do you think of Gage Green Genetics, BC Bud Depot, G13 Labs, T H Seeds, and Sensi Seeds?
 
Never ran Gage Green. Hear good things though. Never ran BC either. G13 I ran pineapple express. Was good, got 4 oz off a 9 inch plant going into flower with 2 weeks of veg. Blue OG im running now I think is G13 as well. Wasn't bad.

I have T.H. Seeds Dark Star going right now, was the only seed out of the 4 that looks like it'll do anything. Something fucked with the other 3, not sure as they all had the same treatment. The Dark Star shot off a huge tap root within 24 hours after an overnight soak.

Sensi never ran.
 
Started 4 Archive Stink Bomb's in bags yesterday morning after an overnight soak. This morning I have 4 little roots coming out. 4/4 success!

Not sure wtf was wrong with the other seeds, their taproot never budged and started turning brown. I threw them out a couple days ago. Sucks cause they were all fems.
