Yes that was my intent. I wasnt sure if i was laying it on thick enough, i am glad that it didnt go unnoticedSo is it your intent to come off like a pompous ass or I'm getting the wrong vibe here? I mean that as an honest question considering the fact you think most NSN seed shoppers don't know squat.
I know that you read my following comments as you had responded and even thanked me for the advise. Had I intended to respond to your little thread only to be an asshole, I dont think i would have wasted my time trying to give advice to new gardeners (that obviously need help).
Not necessarily you, but there are some very basic questions being asked, statements being made and questionable grow practices being described that indicates quite the lack of preperation and research that should probably have been done prior to even purchasing any seeds.
There are many great, knowledgeable growers here on RIU and we all love to help out a passionate new grower. The problem is that too many want everything to be spoon fed to them and in return they will receive pompous replies, or, as evident by the lack of well known members response to this thread, no guidance or help at all. But when a new grower asks for help, or makes a mistake and it is clear that they have spent quite a bit of time reading and researching for themselves, they typically will receive a great deal of feedback, respect & love from the community.
We have all spent countless hours researching and learning. The best advise you could ever receive is to read, read, read and read some more... ^^^ this is the reasoning for my pompous ass comment
But all of that said, i still took the time to give you a suggestion in regards to preserving your genetics. I then even went as far, following the flow and direction that this thread was going in regards to aquiring the proper minimal equipment needed to produce quality meds, and gave great examples of where to begin. (Not meaning to sound redundant, but even spending 20 minutes to search this forum or even google would have yielded a better solution then going to Lowes or getting scammed on craigslist for your growing equipment needs)
But hey, now I know better then to join into the discussion to give some helpful advise. I will no longer watch the blind lead the deaf into oncoming traffic. It is clear that everything here is under control... Carry on and Good luck with your grow.
