Vacuumed seal after harvest

i harvested and with the couple pounds I have left over I vacuumed sealed. Will that make it not cure? Should I of not done that?

You are correct, it will not cure. You should have dried and cured it first. But even then, Vacuum Bags are not the best way way to store your goodies. Yes, they will enjoy a long shelf-life - but the process is physically rough on the product!

You need to make sure your product is good and dry before sealing. If there is more than just a tiny bit of moisture in the product you are courting a mold disaster. Sealing in glass jars provides the same protection and allows you to periodically check the product. Pot has a habit of drawing moisture out of the atmosphere, eh?

It is dry. None of it is wet. I just figured it would be better that way but I will open them up and put them in a humidified big sealed can that I have. I thought it would be easier to store that way.
