The shittiest place in the USA

I was reading an article recently about East St Louis. Apparently there are the ruins of a very large Indian settlement under East St. louIs but they haven't really been able to excavate due to there being houses there. Well it has gotten so depressed that a whole lot of the houses have been torn don and a large scale dig is currently underway. What a place to be an archeologist.

East STL looks like it is a bombed out war zone. I used to go to STL Rams games with my dad and we would park on the IL side of the river and ride the tram over. We would have to drive through when coming and leaving and it was a really scary looking place, the kind of place you dont even want to stop to get gas at a gas station or be lost in at dark lol. Didnt know it was an Indian burial ground.

The south and west side of Chicago is not much better.. arguably worse.. but at least we have a nice skyline on a lake with a happening downtown and north side.. Detroit is a pile of fucking bricks.....
