Cloner Question

All you need is tap water. Don't need to ph it or anything. That's what I do, and my cuts are usually ready for a solo cup within 10 days.

Do your best to keep the reservoir cool. At the very least 70F. 65F would be better. Lower water temps provide more dissolved oxygen for the roots. Let the res get too warm and you'll have to deal with root rot, and a bunch of other issues.

No need for cloning gel or cloning nutes?
Although I could always try it without them and if it doesnt work use them.

I have 2 of his 25 site cloners. ive been growing and cloning for 4+ years. I HAD a 99.99999% success rate up until 3 weeks ago. ive only lose 2 clones in 4+ years. now I cant get my gorilla glues to clone for the life of me. ive tried everything. the cloners work perfect. I do use cloning gel AND ph my water to 5.8-6.0 (tap is 8.3ph). I normally get small roots in 5 days and I up-pot in 13 days....until now.

ONLY hand tighten the misters, don't use a small wrench. they are very easily broken. I also cut 95% of the net pot bottom off as my roots used to get all tangled up and ripped out when transplanting.

Try scrapping the sides of the stem that goes into the cloner lightly with a razorblade...keep your water temps around 70-75*F

I have a few strains that root within 7 to 10 days......then there are some that take 3-4 weeks to root.

My East coast Sour D take 3-4 weeks.... ask anyone that has the original cut....that shit is hard to root

I found its best to change your water out once a month if your water is over 75*F to avoid the slime monster

Don't even bother using the net pot...let the roots dangle freely you can trim those up any time

I always scrape .5-.75" from my 45* cut. my glues always root 3 days faster than my other 5 strains. I found ONE that has a 2" root coming from the bottom this morning. best ive seen in 3 weeks in the cloners.

water temps are within reason 70-75

plenty of air movement in tent.

4' 4tube t8 6500 lights 12" from top of cloner.

small air stone in each cloner 24/7

cloner pump on 24/7

nothing has changed in my cloning regimen in 4+ years. ive done nothing out of the ordinary. new razor, fresh cloning gel, new bulbs, only variable was I moved the cloners over on the other side of the tent 3'. that's it.

I can keep my clones in my cloner for 6-7 weeks...try leaving the GG longer

Do a bleach run in between your next batch to clean the machine...I do 1/4 cup to a gallon water let the machine run a few min..... then a rinse cycle with reg water

You don't need to use the cloning gel.... just cut and straight into a running cloner
