More than agreed. But im meaning if they dont clean up they will be that way. Mine grows just as youve Explaimed. But i wouldnt say its a standard. Half the people when u say cut a leaf they freak out haha
lol i hear that about cutting leaves, some people just don't understand that some strains need it. I've been chopping and cutting these up since day one. I'll be cleaning her up around week 2 or 3. Week 4 will be rough because I'm moving and will have to move these about 5 miles to a new spot, so I'm hoping they don't stress too much, but the move has to be done unfortunatly. I'm going to give them an extra week to recover and hope she doesn't spit out some nanners. There's 90 holes in the scrog net and each hole has minimum 1 top, some 4 tops, so there's an easy 100+ tops (probably closer to 150), I figure that should make for a nice yield with it

You'll love it brother. The smell and flavor is what really make it a knockout strain in my opinion. I have a net of the glue and a net of blue dream fillin out right now. I am subbed up for this. If you'd like to get a good idea of what she'll start to look like check out greengenes garden. He has like 15-20 of them over a month into flower in coco.

right on bro, that looks exactly like a sample I got, big chunky bubbly dense stanky buds! I've only smoked about an 1/8th of it but the smell was incredible, hints of cocoa and chemy funk taste. I'll check out greengenes for sure

Here's the sample branch I got. It was straight dank as hell. After a week of drying the smells changed to Chem cocoa. This is the sample from the cuts I'm running here. That branch was the lowest branch and it was 4.5 grams, so damn I can't imagine what the top colas will be. Def a big yielder :DScreenshot_2015-04-03-01-09-40-1.pngScreenshot_2015-04-03-01-08-45-1.png

Hell yeah man! That's how to do it! Those DEs are on my christmas list 8-) Much appreciate these cuts man, they perfectly fit my grow style, I'll be rocking this gear for awhile. Hoping the smart pot/ ebb bucket combo will run even better next round

I hate to burst any bubbles but gorilla glue isnt a high yielder at all. You wont get any colas over 6 inches and thats the main ones. but the plant also wont work extremely well when it hasnt been cleaned up. It will produce hairy buds with little density. Ill give you a side by side here shortly.
Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to that side-by-side.

We're running a small test room of the Gorilla Glue #4 now. Sourced from a trusted grower up North. Never got anything from him that isn't the real deal. Said this one was the very elusive #4 from JW himself. We really liked the vigor of the mother plants, very strong and bushy, perfect for energetic little babies. Clones rooted quickly and plants were strong through vegetative phase. Flipped them at 14" tall. Just moving into week four and the stretch is slowing dramatically, plants are now 6' tall.

I can't really say at this point how the GG #4 will yield since this is our very first run; however, I've seen enough to suspect that we'll arrive at an extremely good outcome. Here's a shot of small bud taken a few days ago, I think right at end of week three. I'll grab a shot of the top colas later tonight after lights out, they are also starting to fill in nicely.

Buds seem to be very dense. We do not defoliate. Buds on lower branches are also super frosty and looking like they will grow to substantial, market quality size. I'm liking this one.

Oh, also has a unique nose. Sorta like rubbery chocolate mixed with a slight fuel smell. With a hint of citrus. Very different. Rub a fan leaf and it jumps on ya. Should be great in the jar!

Damn, flowered at 14" and over 6' now?! I flowered mine at 14 or 15" and I'm hoping they don't get over 3' tall lol. Did you top and train them? There's a few dispensaries that have the legit cut once in a while (these actually came from one in nor cal). You're right about how vigorous this plant is, it's unbelievable! Today is 7 days some cuts have been in the cloner, I'll have to check if they have roots, I've heard it clones really easy too but this is my first run of cuttings I've taken myself of the glue.

Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to that side-by-side.

Yea, she's a stretcher all right. Got to be some heavy sativa genetics in there somewhere among the Chemsis, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel. Someone made the assertion that the Gorilla may not develop large, heavy top colas. I took a picture yesterday (sorry for HPS lighting). These plants are at beginning of week 4 with at least 4-5 more weeks to go. I'm thinking that if they continue to fill out at the rapid rate I've witnessed so far we will have some big, phat colas. Take a look and draw your own conclusions:

Looks great knotts! That's some crazy colas for that early, most sativas I've grown don't even start budding until after week 3. My glue are now @ 21". It's been 1 week since the flip and they were flowered at about 15". They can grow another 12-15" but then they need to stop lol. I have to move these things soon and it will suck if they get crazy tall :p

Day 15, start of week 3.

The stretch seems to be slowing down and flower sets are starting. They are currently 32" tall and I'm hoping they peak out at about 36". 2.5x stretch or so.

I've switched to bloom nutes today. 1100ppm (about 1.6ec)-maxibloom, calmag, Epsom.

I'm impressed with how quick the plants start flower.

All is going perfectly, just hoping the stretch is over 8-)

Any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks man.

The plants weren't scrogged (net is just there for support) so I'm just going to cut the net out with scissors and take out a one plant at a time, none of the tops are tangled on separate plants luckily, but it should still be a challenge to move them :p
