Ketamine is an anaesthetic that is meant for human use , it was the battlefield drug in the Vietnam war , doses were administered according to the seriousness of the wound , when a soldier's leg got blown off medics would put the soldier in a K Hole , Ket is a much better battlefield drug than the Morphine used in ww2 .Ok correct me if I am wrong but isn't ketamine for cats?
Ketamine is still approved for human use & is the forerunner to the surgical anesthetic Propofol , if Michael Jackons doctor had put him under with Ketamine vs Propofol he'd still be alive today , with Ketamine a person can safely be rendered unconscious without being on a breathing machine , Propofol requires the use of a ventilator & is why MJ died .
Ketamine also works well with animal physiology so its used to anesthetize or sedate animals of all sizes , the pain killer Fentanyl used for humans is much the same where it works with animals physiology & is used as a veterinary pain killer .
