Bringing Out the PURPLE.....???

Sorry for new thread in here: but could somebody tell me if this "Lemon Skunk," clone looks normal or not? I just bought it from a dispensary yesterday and transplanted it. The grower at the medical dispensary said it needed to be transplanted and the yellow n purple should go away. Is this correct?
at transplant if you saturated the medium with water you must let it dry very well the first time and by 3rd watering it should bounce back. By looking at the size of your container I would recommend water only for the first few weeks.

In seed catalogues there are often photo's of very purple strains.
Do these purple shades happen just by growing the plant?

Or is there a technique for provoking this outcome..?
I know this is an old thread, but I read somewhere that for an indoor grower to induce the purple in the strains listed qualities they used ice cold water when watering. having said that and not having done it myself, I expect to get my arse kicked by some for even suggesting it, but, hey you asked, I responded. This is purely anecdotal.
I'm also growing Lavender at the moment and as ThorGanjason said it smells of LAVENDER...!
Awesome

you can use reduced temperature water to induce purple or in the last 2 weeks really cool it down (not ice cold) and itll bring out the purple really well but youll pay for it in yield. the act of applying cold ass water to roots will definitely cause a risk of shock if too cold.

have you tried reducing night temps in your grow space?

the best way to get purple bud is to use a clone or seeds of a strain that is KNOWN to go purple then you dont have to do anything ( my strain is genetically purple regardless of temps)
