I heard they want to do away with home growers? How exactly would that go over? Hey, everyone growing.... stop it. Ya ok. :finger:
My ass is ready to do some winter grows in a warmer state anyway.
It's not hard to imagine brother, it became law in Canada April Fools Day last year and they're just living on a stay and legal fees today. If the lobbyists had their way in Lansing's backrooms last year we'd be in the exact same boat facing our own fools day :(

Can't compare Canada, its another world there. Easier to be arrest yet U get out in no time. Crimes that bring 10-20 years are 2-3 years in Canada.

Toronto has pot smoking cIubs, no questions, bring your own bud, thats it, no card needed, open right now, 11 in the morning, ti 1 at night, 100's smoking bud indoors yet tobacco smoking is banned everywhere in pubIic ...Weed smoke is not the same as tobacco .smoke..... Toronto police got no issues with the cIubs, they been open many years ......... can't compare Canada

Unfortunately who ever has the most money wins. Let's hope and pray that it's not the council of "Lets regulate and get richer"
Free market, free market....The more free markets that pop up the less chance these tool boxes will win

No one with a felony conviction could grow or sell recreational marijuana for business purposes. A household could grow up to two flowering marijuana plants for personal use or to share with others under the legislation, which would let municipalities pass ordinances allowing up to four plants to be grown per household.
Marijuana legalization ballot drive launched in Michigan

this isnt cool

That's not necessarily true. I recall Matty Moroun sponsoring a ballot initiative to prevent the 2nd international crossing from being built that was rejected by voters. That campaign clogged tv and radio with some of the most anti-factual bullshit advertising I've ever heard in my life, and despite the very little faith I have in MI voters, they saw through it. Until these groups actually submit the language they plan on using, its hard to get behind any of them. However, I don't see myself supporting any initiative that weakens the current medical law, or puts recreational cannabis growing solely in the hands of a corporate or gov't entity.

well said Kountdown, i would have to say I am more decriminalize than quasi-"legalize". If you take away my rights to provide (my own medicine), that I have now, whats the point?

links to the norml bill? What I have heard is good, but its just Matt paraphrasing the ideas of the bill. regulate like craft brew is being thrown around but I haven't seen wording. I like that idea, but without the verbiage is bullshit to me.

If you're referring to Matt Abel, he is affiliated with MCCLRC. They're holding a town hall meeting in Flint to discuss their proposal on April 19. More info here: http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/2015/04/marijuana_legalization_group_h.html

Here's an article from the Free Press discussing all the groups and they're proposals: http://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2015/04/10/cannabis-marijuana-pot-legalize-republican-democrat-libertarian-michigan/25611827/

Still no ballot language from MIchigan Cannabis Coalition but they have stated some their bullet points and MIchigan Responsibility Council is still shrouded in mystery.

I find it very frustrating we voted this and won for what we have now, But the people that voted no and lost are still trying to screw the law that passed, may be them Idiots should be on the Police Brutality laws LMAO and there worried about some medical that has been being used for over 5000 years. Sure its the Morons who are losing Money on there private Prisons wanting the laws changes we passed already Because there Inmate numbers are down. I don't understand why when Crime is down when a law passes they want to mess with it. Oh Wait I Do Its Them !!!!! and we all know who them are.
